Hello All,

I have been "lurking" here for a couple months now. I have been vaping for about 6 month now. Started as many of us did with blu. I am forever grateful because I would have never been introduced to this world without them, but I quickly found that I needed something that would last me more than a couple hours and have more flavors available. I am currently using a ego with a vivi nova. I am looking to step up to vv/vw at sometime in the near future. Thanks to this forum I am also looking more and more at DIY ejuice and rba. Any advice is appreciated. I have been leaning towards the zmax because it is more in my price range. (please don't hate me provari users. I'd like a provari as well :)) Anyway, thank you already for all the advice and support you have already given, even though you didn't know you did.

Welcome! Are you looking for the cheapest and easiest solutions possible?

I might recommend a Vamo over a Zmax is you're looking for an accurate VV/VW mod at the lowest price point. You can buy a Vamo kit for $52 at Zainy.net but you'll be waiting a few weeks to receive. Other places are selling them for just a tad more, but you'll get it faster. An Ego Twist or Vision Spinner is another low budget alternative for VV but once the battery dies, you'll have to replace the entire unit.

As far as DIY, you might find buying premixed PG/VG nicotine to be easier and perhaps even safer if you have pets and kids with limited space to work on your juices. With premixed nicotine, all you have to do is add your flavoring and you're done.

you will like varivolt it can really change the taste of your vape. even if you move up to a twist and take baby steps to what you think is the ultimate vape machine. That ideal may change with time also. So root around ask questions and enjoy the ride.
Thank you for the welcome. I have thought about the twist or kgo as a baby step, I do like the idea of replacable batteries in the long run. That is why I have not tried the kgo or twist yet. If my ego does die(one died already and replaced it with a pass through) I might go that route.

Thank you for the welcome. Thank you for the information. I will have to look into the Vamo. Thanks for the info on the pre mix. That could be a great way for me to get my feet wet. My problem (with everything in life it seems) is sometimes I try to run before I am done crawling.

I have been lingering too :) Welcome, I get my upgrade from the ego's in a week or so too! I do like the Twist to start. Good Luck

Thank you for the welcome. I think after a little reaserch I can get a Vamo for the price of two twists. Might be a little more, but better in the long run

Welcome, Shamgar and AdrianSmith1!

The Twist is an excellent small-size variable voltage device but has it's limitations (mostly current capability). Most vapers would probably be fine with a set of 2 Twists of sufficient mAh rating to get them through the day (but for many of us, fine just ain't good enough...if we cant weld with it, it's too wimpy :D).
I cannot speak for the Vamo (looks promising but...). Do some searches and read reviews before you buy. I won't mention the P... word so as not to start another riot :) but, just consider what your spending and how well others seem to think it holds up before taking the MOD plunge.
