First RBA / RDA

Hello everyone

Looking to get my first RBA and a dna 30. I was thinking about a kayfun, not sure which version
I am looking for something I can use all day, and take it with me to work, so something that doesnt leak is preferred.
What ohms should i build the coils to?
Are there builds that provide cool to warm vape with lots of vapor production (clouds:))

Thanks!

The Kayfun is a great first RBA, my favorite build was 8 wraps of 28 gauge Kanthal around a 3/32 bit for .8 ohms on a mech. Make sure you have an ohm meter and are checking your build before putting on your mod to avoid any nasty surprises. I highly recommend Baditudes blog for anyone joining the RBA ranks

The Kayfun is not a cloud machine, the airflow is too restricted to run with the RDAs, but it's respectable and great for flavor.

Best of luck, enjoy!

I have the Kayfun 3.1ES and should be getting the Kayfun lite V2 this week (postman willing)...

If you are going to get a lite then make sure it is a V2, they have all the features of the 3.1 but without the drip collector bit, so it is slighter smaller I believe, but with the same capacity.

There is really no right and wrong when it comes to ohms, especially considering you will have the DNA30 to fine tune your setup.
I would suggest similar to B2L, going for the 28awg or 30awg kanthal.

I see a lot of people on here going for builds of around 1.0 - 1.4 ohms builds for their Kayfuns.

I perfer the kayfun lite . I have the 3.1 but I actually like the lite better. With the lite the filling area is on the bottom with a screw as opposed to the side and for me it's much easier and far less hassle! I love the way the kayfun lite fills and I've NEVER had any problems with leaking or flooding on my kayfun lite. She's great. A very easy build, easy to clean, gives loads of vapor and loads of flavor. By far my favorite RBA. And I have several Rbas and RSST but kayfun lites flavor has them all beat! I use mine as my daily tank because she never gives me any problems!! If you get a kayfun lite you won't be disappointed. It's a great vape just about any way you build her. I personally like using micro coils on mine at around 1.0 ohms. I get a real nice vape with that. You can't go wrong getting the kayfun lite. You will love it!
