i won't bore with details, hehe, so here we go.

i went out to my favorite bar last night, and took my EVO and Pilot along with me. for me, one of the hardest things about giving up smoking is being in a bar, with a drink in hand, and NOT having a cigarette.

normally when i'd go out, i would go through a pack a night, but honestly didn't smoke during the week, just the nights out on friday and saturday. so for me, not terribly expensive, but still a vice.

knowing i smoked a pack a night, i was prepared and had about 4 filled carts with me, just in case...but i never even finished 2. i swapped between my EVO and Pilot all night, and never changed the cart on either of them.

apparently my smoking habits are much better with the ecigs, and a lot of the time just holding the things in my hand helped with my craving. i'd take a few puffs, and put it back in my pocket or just hold it and twirl it in my fingertips.

note: these are heavier than real cigs, so don't drop it on the table or it will ROLL away! haha.

now, luckily for me, no one really approached me, as we were sitting in a back corner, but i showed it off to a few people that i knew, and it was actually the nonsmokers that wanted to try it and that liked it, the couple of smokers that tried it were mainly like..."meh, i dunno..." so...who knows. i did give the name of the sites where mine were from, maybe i converted a couple people, we'll see ;0

now, as for the loud noise and batteries, this was just a bar with a loud jukebox, and this night i was in the back corner and not sitting at the bar itself. the volume would be...hmm...loud enough that you had to lean over the table and lightly yell to the other person to talk, but not so loud you couldn't hear them if they raised their voice...if that makes sense.

my batteries never set off with the loud music or loudness at the table.

yes, there is still the concern about being in a loud club with them...so i haven't tried that yet....but test #1 of being in my favorite bar...both Pilot and EVO batteries passed without fail.

and...not to mention...my throat doesn't feel like a chimney today, and i woke up and was able to breathe. another plus side for me...i spent very little on real cigs anyway, and now it seems i'll be able to spend even LESS with ecigs...aside from the initial investment of course :)

oh, one comparison i did come up with for people trying it...was to tell them to puff it like it was a milkshake. slow, deep pull. not sure if it helped...hehe...but that's one thing that came to mind when trying to describe how to draw on it instead of like a real cigarette.

i just wish vaping cured hangovers...
