First Rebuild with a Protank 2 Coil

Yesterday I finally got tired of buying Protank 2 coils I decided to try and rebuild one.I got 10 feet 28 gauge Kanthal Wire and watch a couple of youtube videos and read these forums... 6 hours later I finally I made 1 coil lol but I was so proud of it it was a 0.9 ohm coil with Japanese cotton. It worked wonderful! It wicked right, resistance did not fluctuate. I think i might start buying rebuildables any body have suggestion of a rebuildable decks that are for noob builders I just want a simple and a big deck so I have room to work. Just thought I would share my build

If you can build a PT2 coil, you shouldn't have any trouble with most RDAs!!

Many start with the IGO-W, as I did. Decent 3 post atty, fixed air (but you can drill out if you want). Best part is the price, usually around $15.

There are tons of RDAs out there with easy-to-build decks. There are also many options to consider...AFC? Top cap style? Bottom air, side air, top air, multiple air? Flavor or clouds?

There's an rda section of this sub-forum, might be good for you to poke around there, and see what's out.

You could also check the ECF classifieds. I think I saw a Zenith for sale there, IMO it would be a good starter atty with plenty of options.

While I don't have it I hear the lemo and lemo2 are single coil tanks and user friendly.

Nice! I've built The hell outa some Pt2 coils. Try sime 32 twisted, 8 wrap, bout 1.8ohm. Sweet! Finally I got the subtank mini and Xbox mini kit. Low cost, fires down to .3 got an rba section, and the horizontal occ coils are ez to rebuild if you can do pt2's. I've been building the vertical coil in mine.
As I'm thinking you might need a new battery if your gonna upgrade, I like this one, not too big, and now I can experiment quite a bit without dripping,and this way, I can change outa coil without building my tank, or buying extra bases to keep handy. I had an arctic too, couldn't keep it from flooding. Almost never flood the subtank. Just my 2 cents of opinion.
