Change of subject here, but after buying an MVP2, I am seriously thinking of my next purchase being a Reo. The only problem is, if I bought one, I'm wouldn't want a the VV model, but I understand that the non-vv is set at 3.7. This voltage does seem to burn a lot of my e-liquids, (I use mint, menthol and fruity flavors mostly).

How would I prevent this at a set setting of 3.7v?
Would a high or low ohm coil help in any way?
I currently use around 2.5ohm attomizers & clearomizers, with the battery set at 3.3/3.4v

Yes, you would wrap a higher resistance coil. Also remember, Voltage is not set at 3.7 on a mech. The batteries come off the charger around 4.2 and with the voltage drop of the mod (which will be less with a higher res coil) you will be starting in the 4ish volt range on a new REO.

It's very simple to wrap a coil at a resistance to put you in your sweet spot :)

You wrap coils for your juice. My coils are 1.3 to 1.8 depending on the juice. I don't get burned juice ever. Maybe a dry hit if I get distracted and forget to squonk once in a while. I also vape lots of menthol and minty stuff with a bit of fruit.

The non VV REO is fully mechanical and there is no setting, there's just your 3.7V battery that, like Super_X said, come off the charger at around 4.2V. So the only adjustment is how you wrap your coil. The more wraps, the higher resistance, the cooler your vapor.

super_X_drifter makes some of the best starter video's on how to wrap a nearly perfect starter coil. You will find them along with almost everything else you need to know to get started with a REO here:

Just got my first Reo Grand today and I am in love. In fact I have not put the thing down and have had to change the batteries multiple times once they got down to 3.7 volts. But sorry to say i have vaped it to the point of vapors tongue lol. Anyway Rob You have my full attention and I will be making many more purchases i am sure. To anyone wondering if they should put up the money for one of these things don't even think twice it is unreal. P.s. The Kawasaki Green is Amazing, nice job.

I purchased one just days ago. I am now on a quest to convince my wife (who also vapes) that she needs one as well.

At my house it was just the opposite. I had been using REOs for well over a year before the husband got one. I tease him and say he's a slow learner. ;) He just got his invoice for his second one yesterday. And yes, he'll read this post and probably "like" it too.

Haha, my wife was sooooo happy when I gifted her all my "good" ego vv and clearos.... Then the REO came in the mail and she took one puff and was constantly stealing it.. It made a good Christmas present :D
