First post, here goes...
Ive been rebuilding micro coils for my kanger protank and mini protank with great success. I just got an agat+ and a vamo v3 and figured id try my hand at the stainless steel mesh wicks many people rave about. I got it up and runnin, it vapes well, but it tastes like straight metal.
I oxidized the mesh a few times with a torch, rolled it up, dripped liquid on it and set it on fire a few times, touched up the hot spots, hit the button, and it vaped like a train. I took a good few hits thinking this would go away, but it did not.
Also, I was using the mesh that came with my agat+, maybe a quality issue? Not sure.
If this is the norm I may just stick with my cotton and silica, however, I assume others are getting better results as many seem to prefer it.
Walnuts out.
