Bammm!

I love this forum and the people on it! After researching and shopping I successfully just rebuilt my first vivi nova head and it vapes like a beast. I tested my vivi with a regular stock head at 3.5ohms and my rebuilt coil hit 3.6ohms.the new coil is vaping fantastically. Now I'm just waiting for my vamo kit to come in the mail so I can start messing around with resistance and volts!

Next phase of vaping: DIY e-liquid!

That's awesome and congrats! The forum has a lot of great information on rebuilding and diy.

I suggest trying the protank next. The head is rebuilt the same way.

I have a question about these. I rebuilt protanks a lot, and since I don't use any non resistance wire (cause its a gigantic pain in the ....) I notice that the positive to negative insulation "o ring" burns up a little bit. Did you notice the same thing? It's not of great concern to me... but I still don't like burnt stuff close to my vape.

I just checked my vivi since I didn't use no resistance wire either but I don't see any burning as of now. The pro tanks a diff story I still have my stock heads that came with it so I won't be replacing them anytime soon. Ive heard its possible however to actually burn through that rubber gasket.

With the burnt gasket all I do is circumcise it! lol

Usually just the portion is burnt where the wire meets it. I just use nail clippers and snip off that portion. It also makes it easier to push the grommet back in after you run your wires through.
