Hey All,
I am about to start down the path of building my first E-pipe mod. I plan on converting a tobacco pipe (similar to this one). I have an engineering degree and know my way around tools so I do not expect challengers there. I also have found a few different schematics that have been shared on this site.

For those that have done these before, I am looking for any tips or tricks that you can share. Also where did you find your parts? Did you cannibalize other mods? Is there a supplier that I am not finding?

Anything you are willing to share will be helpful!

Thanks :2cool:

Welcome.... Rathamar......You will find a lot of tips, and things in this sub-forum.....Keep in mind, E-pipe's or no more complex than a 3.7 un-regulated box mod, only the rapper is different......You said, you found a few different schematics? Have you seen this? http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ll-makes-models-designs-113.html#post11313613 two links..
Or this ?
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/e-pipe-models/450903-diy-epipe-conversion.html

Also, those pipes from the Ukraine, look like they will work for converting to E-pipes....When using tobacco pipes, you have to keep in mind that....One: you have to have a depth of about 45mm or more to use a 18350 battery. and Two: 3/4 of a inch(18mm) diameter hole in the bowl.....

As you can see from the picture, the tobacco pipe has a rounded bottom.....you have square that hole up to use a battery, without drilling through the side, or bottom of the bowl.....

Hope this will help....Read through some of the posts in this Forum, for more information, and of course ask questions.....

duckie....

Hey All,
I plan on converting a tobacco pipe (similar to this one)......

I've been looking through the same pages on Ebay looking for something to convert as well. There are a lot of interesting antique/carved wood pipes to choose from, just have to find the right one at the right price.
The one you chose to convert looks pretty cool. Seems to have enough wood to work with. Please post pics once this gets going!
