First Time Building (RSST)

So I built my brand new RSST for the first time today....and I'll be honest...it was not easy for me (the first time at least). But my last build ended up pretty nice and I'm loving it so far. =] Thought i'd share a "before" and "after" pic...lol

Quite a difference in my opinion. XD

For those curious, i'm using 2mm ekowool (I looped it) and 30 guage kanthal. Final build came out to 2ohms exactly, which is fine for me. Its sitting on the MVP v2, and i'm vaping juicemafia frozen lemonade....I must say, the flavor is...pretty amazing. Far better than any other atty/clearo/carto or whatever i've vaped this liquid in before.

If any of you happen to see anything I can improve on, please let me know. I'm perfectly fine with some constructive criticism. =]

I just built my first coil on my rsst also. I used 500 ss mesh. I had to drill the hole to 1/16th(i thnk). I can tell you that you're 2nd coil looks way better than mine. lol.

I used 26guage kanthal with 4 wraps and it came out to be .7ohms.

I was aiming for above 1.2-1.3 because I have no idea what the amp limit is on the MVP v2, but I didnt wanna end up with a .6 ohm coil and have to go again so I just kept wrapping. haha.

i wrapped my coil on a nail and then pulled my ekowool right through the wick hole and right through the coil then fastened it down.

Didn't drill out the airhole, might end up doing that at some point, but for now this air hole is working fine for me.


P.S: that was my 3rd coil, first two were throwaways xD
