I think I went a little overboard but I just got in everything I need (for now) to try my hand at some DIY flavor mixing..... Nic juice, PG, VG, syringes and thing-a-ma-bobs a plenty. I got pv's and ego's galor.......
Enough about me..... Any feedback from members would be cool. I saw a fantastic thread on ECF about DIY mixing, looks fantastic. Just asking about your personal stories about your mixes.....
looking forward to some feedback,
thanks for looking,
Alex

Welcome to DIY. Start simple. Grape. Or Spearmint. Or Vanilla.

I know, I know. But it's a lot better to start with a success than a "yuck". Also, you have to learn how strong each flavoring is.

Oh, and it gets better after it steeps a few hours at least (shake it well, and every once in a while).

Let's you test out your juice ratios too without too much complication. PG/VG/Nic level.

Have fun!

Did you see the DIY section and recipes?

Save the nic for when you get the flavor where you want it it will save you some......

Good point.

Also, this is where dripping+atomizer comes in handy... start with the least # of expected drops. Drip it and taste it. If too weak, you can add more, but can't take it back out without a lot of trouble diluting it... so, you can always add more flavoring and shake/steep.

Check out Diy Flavorshack (dawnmarie) is amazing! She makes some super yummy blends that in my opinion are spot on! Not sure what you like as far as fruity or tobacco or menthol or what-not but I highly recommend her DIY flavors! She has also lowered her prices as she is buying Bigger so bigger is cheaper which means she can also pass on the savings to us!! My favorites have all been from her! I have purchased from tpa, wizard labs, ecigexpress, capella, lorann etc, I simply had to go back to Diy Flavorshack!
Anyway, I am always making something new because my tastebuds like to change all day long! I wish you the best of luck in your FUN NEW Diy endeavor!! It IS fun, addicting, and can become your new best friend!!

Welcome to the wonderful world of home made flavours. There are many good tips on here and I would recommend having a good read at the DIY pages on the forum here.

My tips are to make small batches with no nic while you get the flavour right, make sure you steep them to let the flavour come through and if you don't like them, don't through them, put them away for a while and come back to them, you may like them later.

But the most important thing is to make a note of your recipes and clearly label the bottles you have mixed, there is nothing worse than creating a juice that you would die for and not remembering what you put in it to make it taste so good.

(And don't forget, if you find a great recipe, please share it :toast:)

Well made my first 5ml batch "Blueberry Cheesecake"
Flavors from DIY flavorshack Blueberry/Cheesecake
5ml bottle at 6mg nic, 50/50 pg/Vg mix
I did 15% flavor, sweetened
Gotta say, I'm 1 juice in and I'm loving it so far...... Even as a fresh "non steeped" juice, I was really surprised in the flavor & vapor. I've made MANY juice purchases that were not at all as good as this. (not saying it was my skills, cause I am a 100% newbie when it comes to mixing) I just got very lucky with my first batch.....
Thanks for looking,
Alex
