So I tried my first battery and it smoked well for a few hits, then no vapor and the light starts blinking. I let it charge while I take the spare out with me, which has seemed to last for a good while without any charging. A few hours later, I come home, with the battery I carried with me almost dead, I put in the one that was charging, and immediately, it started blinking again as if it was out of battery. Did I get a fault one or did I do something wrong? It's not drawing any vapor at all and I just charged it for a few hours

i have not been able to vape much...both batteries that came with my puresmoker mini must not be good, despite 12 hour charges, i only get vapor for max 6 puffs, then it's done. will probably not be able to convert to e-smoking until i order a penstyle maybe in a few weeks...argh. i really do enjoy the coca cola cash juice...dern it
well these things happen to us all occasionally...just contact Steve/Cashmere and get it replaced...you have a warranty,and hes stand up guy...
Kii - congrats! And yes if you get anything from Puresmoker.com, Steve is amazing. I myself had the steel wool come out of my atomizer and he is sending me out a new one to replace it. Also, I think on another thread Steve doesn't recommend dripping with the 901 so I myself am going to get the penstyle in a few weeks. I will say it has been a week for me and there is a learning curve with vaping vs. smoking. But, once you get the hang, it's awesome. The best advice came from this forum and it was a long, soft pull. Works best for me.

Oh, forgot to mention the blinking light. I too had that problem then finally read the instruction manual. It will blink a total of 10 times if you inhale 5 seconds. It's kind of a reminder for you. The battery is actually going dead when it blinks 30 times. Just FYI...

I was wondering about the carts too. If I just continue to top the carts off with juice, then they can be reused for a while? Also, when would I want to use the empty carts? And what is the best way to keep my atomiser in good shape after using it? Do I just take it apart and set it upside down??

carts dont last forever by topping up,but they should last several days and still perform adequately...some people use them for much longer...it depends on how they hold up...
some people do the upside down draining thing...i stopped doing it in June,and it hasnt made the slightest bit of difference to atomiser longevity or performance...to me its just a waste of juice...i suggest if when the draw gets harder,just blow it out from the battery end,then drip 2 or 3 drops of liquid onto the atomiser to prime it...
one other thing...i dripsmoke 901s constantly to great effect...i find there seems to be less chance of liquid leakage to the battery compared to pens...experiences may differ...but thats just my preference and experience...they work very well with carts too...

So I want to blow out of the atomizer and then add juice to the inside of it?? How long will a bottle of juice typically last? I took the coffee juice out with me last night and I can tell I'm already getting addicted to this stuff. And I actually don't think the normal cartridges taste that bad... kind of a sweet, mellow taste, reminds me of this Chinese tea I had.
Also, when you smoke the e-cig, do you usually blow the smoke out right after inhaling it or do you hold it in for a while? And does holding it give you more of a nicotine buzz? I'm used to smoking the good herb (I've started vaporizing that as well so soon I'll be smoke free) and I typically hold it in my lungs as long as I can. well, I wouldn't drag the e-cig like it was a fattie, but it's ok to hold it for a bit right?

Ok, maybe I didn't get the whole dripping thing correct. Do you drip with or without a cartridge in? I tried it with just the end piece that came with the e-cig and got a mouthful of juice... I only used two drops like what I saw a video on youtube do. I think Steve at puresmoker.com is working on a video for proper dripping techniques. I do have to say... WOW on the vapor although I almost choked to death...hehehe

I'm no expert as I'm a noob, but I haven't had any problems with dripping the 901 and get plenty of vapour.
I tend to draw very slowly, which produces a lot of vapour in my mouth, then inhale the vapour and exhale the vapour as I would an analogue ciggie.
The longer you hold it in your move the less vapour comes out

I think I may need to buy some lower nicotine juice, because I think I'm going to get a nicotine overdose. I want to keep puffing on my e-cig but it makes me feel really light headed and like my heart is beating too fast for my comfort. I did get all high nicotine juices, just because I had no idea how strong it would be. Is it safe to dilute the juices? And is it easy to overdose on the nicotine?
Don't get lower strength liquid just dilute your juice with Vegetabe Glycerin, but make sure it's food grade.
I put a tiny drop in my atomiser along with my 36mg juice, this also gives me lots and lots of vapour aswell.
Or you can put 50% juice and 50% glycerin in a bottle and mix for half strength liquid
