Hi all, I just quit smoking. The Nicotine withdrawl was hell, but I've been using herbal cigarettes to deal with the cravings. I'd rather not smoke anyhting at all, but in the mean time, I'd prefer something less toxic than the herbal cigarettes. I decided to give an e cigarette a try and picked up a cheap-o at a local corner store. It's this one:

Ezee Cig Electronic Cigaretts - Coming Soon!

I wasn't terribly impressed, but for the $20 I wasn't expecting much. The cartridges didn't last too long, but didn't taste bad.

I was just wondering if this typical of cigarette size/shaped e-cigarette

Are there any folks from the Toronto area who know of a good place for supplies?

Thanks!

if you are just starting out i recomend an Ego starter kit if you want to be vaping like how you used to smoke.
they are about the size of a pen and you can refil your carts with nicotine juice at will (though the carts dont last forever)

once you get used to the egos you may want to upgrade or get new cartomizers/clearomizers/atomizers.
but yea an ego kit is fairly good for beginners

Definitely check out Smokeless Image - You can get a great starter kit for like $45 (cheaper than a carton of cigs to get started) and they always have at least a 10% coupon code available. Their liquid is one of the least expensive around. Definitely order MORE cartomizers or eliquid than you think you will need. You will probably vape more at the beginning. I found all sorts of info here on ECF regarding what nicotine strength to start with, how long cartos last etc. Good luck! You will be happy you switched!

Get yourself 2 ego twist "replacement batteries" and throw on a couple of vision vivi novas. Stick with a 70/30 PG/VG mix and go for 24 mg if you were a pack a day smoker. If you were more of a social smoker maybe go with 18mg instead. Get 24mg and 18mg to start in the first case to see the difference, and 18mg and 12mg in the social smoker case. You want to aim high on the nicotine. If it's too high for you it'll be a little harsh and you won't vape as much but it'll get your through. If it's too low you'll go back to smoking and fail.

If you are concerned about budget vaping then get yourself a 5 volt USB passthrough. I have seen them as little as $10 and although you will be tethered to either an outlet, a computer, or a car cigarette lighter, it's better than nothing and it's cheap.
