Hello all!

I've long admired the Precise and PrecisePlus, and I finally acquired my first one today, a first-run Precise 18650! It's the all SS version with no vent holes, flat top, and non-locking button.

I have a couple questions if anyone is able to help me out:

1) Is there any way to have Super-T add vent holes to this mod for peace of mind? If so, is it possible to make these identical to the current P+'s, where they have the small rectangle in the mid section?

2) Where can I get the o-rings or washers for this mod in order to have the battery secure in the tube? I did not receive any with it, and there's a good 3MM in clearance of the battery in the tube.

3) Is it possible to purchase a satin tube for my P18 instead of just getting the vent holes added to mine? If so, how much do these run?

4) Is there an extender made for these to use an 18650 Battery with a kick?

5) When lubricating the Precise, do you just use noalox on all moving parts, including the button and threads for both caps?

Thank you in advance for anyone with information to assist. I haven't vaped from my Precise yet as the brass contacts are in need of a severe cleaning and I really need some compatible washers and o-rings.

1.not sure but I am sure David can answer and will when he sees your post
2.local hardware will have em, usually the previous owner will leave at least one or two in the bottom of the tube, they are hard to see, you will need something long and thin to push it out, I use a little diamond file to push mine from the tube. shine a flashlight down the tube without the battery in there to see, if there is one, then at least you can take that one with you to find one the same size. Other people might know oring part numbers though, David might even send you some if you email him.
3. Tubes alone are not available for purchase.
4. No extender tube for kick and 650 but I think there has been rumblings of that so we shall see.
5. Just noalox on the threads of the top cap and the threads of the bottom switch holder, I would not put it on the switch itself since that will just attract gunk and wont really help anything.

Hope that helps at least a bit until David can respond.

edit:Also, David just posted that he might have upgrade kits in as little as a couple weeks so that might be something to think about, since you might be sending it in anyways, its something to think about. The Rhodium contacts make a HUGE difference in maintenance and consistency.

I also reviewed the upgrade options to send it in for the Rhodium Contacts, and noticed you have the option of getting your tube refinished to the satin, which I much prefer.

Is it possible to purchase a new top cap and bottom cap in Satin to match the finish of the tube once this has been done, or can they be refinished as well?

Good morning,

1) Is there any way to have Super-T add vent holes to this mod for peace of mind? If so, is it possible to make these identical to the current P+'s, where they have the small rectangle in the mid section? I can only add the old style round holes, not the slotted newer style.

2) Where can I get the o-rings or washers for this mod in order to have the battery secure in the tube? I did not receive any with it, and there's a good 3MM in clearance of the battery in the tube. : I sell a parts kit which has all the washers and orings you will need, it is towards the bottom of the page under Spare Parts: Super T Manufacturing, Innovative manufacturer of electronic cigarette products.

3) Is it possible to purchase a satin tube for my P18 instead of just getting the vent holes added to mine? If so, how much do these run? We do not sell the tubes seperately, though we can satin finish your existing unit

4) Is there an extender made for these to use an 18650 Battery with a kick? No, the unit is too thin to manufacturer an extender sleeve

5) When lubricating the Precise, do you just use noalox on all moving parts, including the button and threads for both caps? I don't use noalox on any parts, except if using a kick, then i use it on the top, bottom and side ground of the Kick.

Awesome! Thank you very much for the info, and I completely missed the spare parts item on your site. Thank you for showing this to me!

Before I get the information necessary to send my Precise in to have the Rhodium contacts installed, can you tell me if the top and bottom caps can be satin finished as well?

Thank you again, I sincerely appreciate it!

I am pretty sure that will not be a problem, actually I think David actually answered it, he said " though we can satin finish your existing unit" notice that he said unit and not tube, I think I remember him mentioning that he will do your entire precise to satin so I think you are good.

Thanks for the help guys!

I got my washer kit and 18490 battery from David today, and he added a note for me that said he would put the satin finish on the top/bottom caps as well as the tube when I send it in for the locking button and rhodium contact upgrades.

I also received my Kick in the mail today, and believe it or not, the Precise feels MUCH more comfortable in my hands than my Pro-Vari does. I wish the Kick had a digital readout, but I've quickly learned I don't fumble with the Kick much once I get my wattage dialed in.

I will be completely satisfied and ecstatic once the locking buttons upgrades are available for purchase, and I can get the satin finish completed on my Precise. I get sweaty hands from work being on a PC 10+ hours a day, so this will be upgraded to my all day vape once this is done.

Thank you guys very much for the assistance, and Dave, you sir are a gentleman and a scholar, for the support you provided and the patience to my questions, which I'm sure people have asked thousands of times. I know first hand that it gets old, and I sincerely appreciate everything!

You know me I own a couple of Provaris..
Yes-yes, they work very well......
But they cant be compared to a Precise+.... 100% mechanical, top notch machining....
L7D4N wait until you see the Satin finish, no one does it like David. ;)
