I love my V-Tube!

The CE2 Cartomizer XL @ 4.7 volts is pure vaping heaven my friends!!!

Been vaping for a year now. i quite ego batteries in favor of my new Apollo V-Tube. I've been vaping hard with it for three weeks and a day. it's the full size one. The battery lasts great all day and into the night. At first my batt was wimpy, but after two full charging sessions it has been perfect. I never knew Lithium batteries had to break in, and maybe they don't but it happened to me.

I recommend the V-Tube and Apollo to everyone.

I was a champion of EGO everything (still am) and 510 attys but now I'm a V-tuber using the CE2 Cartomizer XL. Life is good. One thought though, if this V-Tube is to be cost effective (IMO) It has to last one year minimum. Otherwise the rock solid EGO starter-kits with two 1100Mah batteries are the best bang for my buck. Time will tell. A lot of innovation can happen in one year too!)

Cheers!

Yep, I like my V-tube too. I had the same thing with the battery. Took a couple charges before they came off at a full 4.2 volts. Mine are 1600mah though. Are they only shipping 1100mah now?

Meanwhile, I found a battery that's WAY better than the V-tube generics or even the AW's. It's a Panasonic 2250mah IMR that you can get from orbtronics.com for $9.99 shipped. Testing have shown they blow the pants off even genuine AWs. Check out the LavaTube forum for videos, graphs and more info. I haven't had any problems yet with my generic Apollo batteries, but these Panasonics are going to make AW sit up and take notice once the word gets around.

BTW, the Apollo warranty is 1 year, but you can get a 3 yr. warranty from SquareTrade for $10. For an extra $6 they'll cover accidental damage, like if you drop it into your swimming pool. For $5/yr., it's cheap insurance and they have a good reputation for hassle free claims service, especially on lower value electronics like this.

Disclaimer: I'm in no way affiliated with Panasonic, orbtronics, Apollo or SquareTrade.

Update::thumbs: My V-tube still going great. Almost at the 3 month mark! Original 1600mah batt is still perfect. However, like sailorman above me, I too bought a better extra battery. Although I missed sailorman's post above regarding the fine Panasonic 18650 batteries.
I myself bought the mighty and expensive AW 18650 2900mAH protected 3.7v. Built with LiNiCoO2 NNP cells, from supertmanufacturing.com. This battery is protected, so it's a tad to big for the V-tube. It just prevents me from screwing the end-cap in all the way. No big deal. It works great. It charges great with the Apollo 18650 charger. I was freaked at first when my chargers light went from red to orange before turning green. I'd never seen the orange before! I later read online that It just means it's almost charged.
I went with Super-T because of the rampant AW brand forgeries sold all over the internet. I read great things about super-t manufacturing here on ECF, and Super-T even posted a knock-off warning and pictures of fake AW 18650 batteries. They also have the best prices too. They brag about that, and I can confirm its true.
Sorry I got off subject. I'll repost my battery review in the proper place.
The Apollo v-tube is a fantastic day-to-day partner in my life.

Thanks sailorman for the Panasonic battery info, and the supercool Apollo warranty info!!! I had no clue.
