Hi all, just like to say that this forum has been a great source of information. I was a 15 year smoker of a pack of Marlboro lights a day. Quit 2 weeks ago with a V2 starter kit and it was pretty good no craving no cigarettes for 2 weeks. So i purchased a Halo Triton kit with a tobacco sampler at 24mg nicotine. The Triton is great for me but my eliquids taste horrible, even Tribeca. I put them aside for 36 hours before using them but it didn't help. Using e-cigarettes has been a great tool for me to quit smoking. Does anyone have any suggestion, advice or other suppliers? Thanks for listening to my rant.

Drop down to 12-18 mg nic. Tobacco flavors take 1-2 weeks avg to steep for best results. My suggestion is to stay away from tobacco flavors altogether. Try flavors resembling foods you like. For me, it's fruits, creams. For price per ml, Mtbakervapor.com quality shipping, various flavors, Berry Cream is my favorite from them.

As mentioned prior in a post above, tastes are subjective. Try what you desire. They say and I do not know if there is any science behind this but I hear it is easier to stay off cigarettes if you stay away from the tobacco lines. (Now I am sure there will be plenty of people disagreeing with me on this but I am not the one that says it)

As for the flavor tasting not so great. Some liquids need to steep awhile to let the molecules meld together. Keep your liquids stored in a cool dark place (no direct sunlight).
Wicks will also change the taste. I personally do not care for the silica wicks. I prefer 100% Organic cotton that has been boiled in distilled water. I have not tried the stainless steel mesh method yet.
Nicotine levels can also change the way a juice tastes.
The wattage at which you vape can also change the way the juice tastes. The warmer the vape the more robust the flavor becomes.

There are more options to try but these are a few suggestions.

Hope they help you find what you are looking for.

Nick, go to Nicoticket on line and try Creme Brûlée, Custards Last Stand and any other that look interesting. These people make excellent juice and provide fast service. If and when you order, indicate to them that you would like a juice that has already steeped, they might be able to help you out. Just saying!!

If you have a chance to visit a brick & mortar in your area (with an eliquid tasting station) do so. It makes finding a vape you like so much easier in the beginning. That said, there are some wonderful online vendors who manufacture their own eliquid. Check out the following forums for some ideas.

* General E-Liquid Discussion
* E-Liquid Reviews
* Best gourmet ejuice vendors

I recently discovered 3 wonderful gourmet e-liquid vendors: Nicoticket, Alussion & Velvet Cloud Vapor. Great flavors, wonderful service, passionate customers here on ECF (check out what others are saying about them).

Good to have you here and enjoy!
