Hello all! I'm looking into doing DIY now and looking for some advice.

I vape about 60ml per month of 70/30 at 10-12mg. I'm trying to figure out the best quantity of diy supplies to last me 1.5 to 2 years, but I don't want to buy more then would expire at the end of that time. To be honest I still don't understand how the mg strength of the nic base, like which to buy and why I should buy it over say...250ml of 100mg nic.

My current list-

12mg Nicotine solution - 500ml

Vegetable Glycerin USP - 500ml
Propylene Glycol USP - 500ml
1ml Luer Lock Syringe - Quantity Discounts
3ml Luer Lock Syringe - Quantity Discounts

Since i'm 70/30~ I'll assume the nic base should be pg. From what my order looks like thus far should I get a smaller bottle of vg (250ml vs 500ml) and buy another little bottle of pg on top of the 500ml? Just looking to buy only what i'll need for a couple years at the best VALUE at my current ratio.. I like getting the best bang for my buck.

If your 70PG/30 VG you need 36mg pg nic at a minimum

If you want your juice to have 12mg of nicotine, considering that you are making a 10ml bottle (that keeps the math easy), you will need 1.2ml of 100mg nicotine or 3.3ml of 36mg nicotine.

You can easily determine these amounts using an e-juice calculator. I will this one, but almost any will do the job

I purchased my nicotine in 10mg/500ml, mainly because that is what Wizard Labs had available when I visited their facility (their deal with a lot of "walk in" customer, typically you order via web page and they then create the nicotine order). I spilt that into 120 ml glass jars and have three of them in the freezer. I figure that amount should last me for about 1.5-2 years.

Only other question I have right now is in regards to this "Super" menthol concentrate..

Or should I just buy the crystals/concentrate from WL? Is the above flavor really "super" concentrated (worth the money)? Looks like a 10ml bottle is good for 400mls for $10 shipped. 20 shipped for the 30ml.

Getting closer..

WL is out of the menthol flavor so I'll probably wait until it's in stock to place my order. I replaced the 12mg 500ml with a 100mg 250ml nic base and added another needle and about 20 flavors to start with. I think that should do it..
