condom method is the best way I've found:
remove the mouthpiece end cap,
fill the larger of the 2 rubber silicon caps 3/4 of the way with e-liquid,
slowly insert the cartomizer threaded end first,
push down until the coartomizer is all the way inserted,
remove and blow through the mouth end (lightly) to clear any juice inside the tube,(blow into a tissue)
replace the mouthpiece end cap,
wipe the cartomzer down.
ENJOY!

I quickly jumped onto cartomizers when I first started vaping. They seem to work best for me, reliable, convenient, consistent.

I use two methods to fill. I always run a drip tip on my cartos so when I'm out and about, I simply drip into them. Works quite well and it's quick and easy.

When at home, I use a more invovled method that fills them completely and quickly. I use a syringe with a dispenser tip to push juice in from the battery end. I also insert a toothpick to block the airway in the middle so the juice gets forced into the filler. One caveat with that method, it only works on cartos like the Boge that use an upper center post grommet instead of a lower one. With the lower grommet (Joye style), the juice will just squirt out the air holes on the side.

I went down to our local feed/farm store and got a 5ml syringe along with a 18ga needle(quite a bit larger than the insulin type). less than a dollar. Pop the soft cap off the cartomizer and slide the needle down beside the filler and fill. press until you see the juice wet the top of the filler. this works good without mess.

Insensitivity to juice thickness is an advantage the wrapped style ones like the Boge. They don't use wicks so you never have wicking problems. That was a big issue for me because of my heavy vaping style. Anything I've tried with a wick invariably dries out on me at some point. With the wrapped style ones, you can vape pure VG in them if you want (pure VG is thick like syrup). Joye brand cartomizers are one example of a cartomizer that uses a wick. The various CE2 cartomizer lines also use a wick. Several brands of cartomizer use the wrapped style, SmokeTech is another one. They make the dual and triple coil cartomizers. The only caveat with the wrapped style is you can't let them dry out at all because they can burn easily. You have to refill early to keep them wet.

Depends on the carto. For the ones with wicks, you can just vape them until they taste dry. Then refill. Some use a transparent tube (like the Clearomizers) so you can just look and see when they're dry. The wrapped metal ones can be a bit tricky. You don't want to dry them out at all because they can burn, but you can usually tell when they start tasting a little dry and then refill before it gets to that point.

Personally, those are my least favorite cartomizer, but they have their advantages, long life mainly. You should get as many as 30 refills off one. They utilize an air passage on the side and an adjacent juice chamber. There's a wick with a horizontal coil at the bottom. The regular condom and injection methods don't work well on that particular make. Those methods are intended to be used on the wrapped style ones. There are some good methods to use on those, but since I don't use them, I don't know where to direct you. Maybe someone else can.

In any case, the Joye cartomizers are fairly robust and vaping them completely dry will not damage them. Same thing for the CE2 cartomizers.

Thank you for your help :) I used the condom method and it seemed to work ok for me tonight but we will see in the long run
