https://www.cignot.com/Joye_510_cartridges_p/510-cro-pnk.htm This is what I have so Im assuming just vape till its dry???

Hello Wickedmama. I just had to reply here because you and I seem to be among the few, the proud, the Genuine Joye carto users.

I like these better than the Boge style because they seem to last longer between refills and give me great vapor and flavor.

Four of these will last me a full 24 hours. I have 4 Egos running all day long.

So, here is how to fill them: Pull off the rubber condoms.

You will need to remove the plastic tip. Open up a paper clip and stick it in the hole, and pull the top cap off. Then you will see another plug inside with 2 holes toward the sides. Use the paper clip again and pull that out. Note which way is up on the plug so you can replace it the same way.

Then, in the center, you will see a fill port. This has a hard plastic membrane that needs to be punctured with a very sharp object. Thats what I use the 20 gauge sharp needle for. It is a pretty tough membrane, so be careful. Just sorta push and twist the needle. The good thing is that you only need to do this once.

Then, you are ready to fill the carto. I use a blunt 18 gauge needle with a syringe. It sits perfectly on top of the fill port. Load the syringe with 1ml or so of juice, set the needle into the fill port and slowly inject the fluid while slowly turning the carto.

Do this over a tissue or paper plate. The first fill, you will need to keep adding juice until it drips out the bottom. Thats to insure everything is saturated.

Blow out the excess into a folded tissue from the tip end. A couple of short slow blows should do it.

Wipe off the threads and replace the plug and end cap. Screw it on to the battery. On a brand new carto, take a few short non-inhaling puffs till you see good vapor.

And there you have it. I know it sounds maybe a bit complicated, but once you get the routine of it, it's a pretty quick and easy process. One carto should last a heavy user 4 hours. (Thats me, a heavy user).

If you don't want to mess with syringes and needles, well you can just turn the carto with the threads up and drip one drop at a time into the hole. It will suck the juice down into the carto. But you can't get as much juice in it. Maybe 10 drops before it stops sucking it in.

Hope this has helped you in some small way.

Oh, I forgot to answer your question. No, don't vape them until they are dry. When the taste and or vapor start to diminish, refill it. Once you know how many cartos a day you need, just fill 'em all at one time. Put the rubber condoms back on the ones not it use.

Awesome thanks. Now I just need to find a good seringe, I only have access to insulan needles and there way too small. Thanks for the advice. If you could tell me where to find a good seringe for cheap or could toss one my way that would be great. Thanks again for your advice :)

Hi again Wickedmama. I think the best place to get the right syringes and blunt 18 ga needles are from Welcome to MadVapes LLC

I'm pretty sure they have the 18ga blunts in the 1 and 1/2 inch length, which works good for almost getting to the bottom of a 30ml bottle of e-juice.

Get the smallest size syringe that they offer that fits the needle. 3ml or at the most 5ml. Or maybe they do sell them as a complete set. Anyway, the shipping will probably cost more that the syringe and needles, cause they are so inexpensive. But what the heck, in the name of vaping, just go for it.

Just remember, the blunt is for filling and the sharpy is for punturing the membrane. 20ga is too small for refilling because its hard to draw up the juice into the syringe with such a small size needle.

Maybe the insulin needles will work to break the membrane. These are Luer-lok syringes, (made by B-D) if your insulin needles are luer-lok, all you need is the 18ga blunt luer-lok needle.
