First vape experience with the ProSmoke

Hey everyone, today I received the ProSmoke I ordered. This is the very first PV I have ever used. When I ordered it I had no experience what so ever with PV's. After spending hours and hours on this site I knew I made a bad decision with the ProSmoke.

After testing it today I can tell you that the ProSmoke is not a quality product. The ProSmoke is not a BAD product but it was not what it was hyped up to be on the website and reviews I watched.

The kit I bought was 95 dollars (Very expensive, I know that now...) it contained:

2x Batts (not sure about size but I think it is similar to a M-403)
1x Atty
1x USB charger/wall charger
20x Filled Carts (I got 10 Vanillia VG and 10 tobacco VG at 28mg)
1x Carrying case (not a pcc just a case)

The very first mistake I made was the 28mg VC filled carts. I had no idea what level of nicotine level to get at the time and I figured the more Nicotine the more bang for your buck.

When actually testing the ProSmoke for the first time I took roughly 10 hits. Half of witch produced some ok vapor, the rest...well not so much.

I did enjoy the vaping experience how ever. It felt new but similar at the same time.

I feel like I picked the wrong level of Nicotine. It was a bit to much for me. I used to smoke anywhere from 10-20 Marlboro reds in a day and I did so for about 3 years.

I continued using it and only got about an hours use out of the charge, which seems extremely low to me. The Carts on the other hand lasted a fair amount of time, about 3 charges per cart.

I plan on returning the ProSmoke back to the company very soon. I am doing this because I am not satisfied over all and the price was way to high. If the ProSmoke was cheaper I would of most likely kept it and used it as a back up

If I have anything to say to newcomers (which was me two days ago) it would be do your research on this forum. Talk to others and read every thing you can.

Sorry about the long post haha :)

That's a bummer. One thing you will pick up from here is that it is definitely a learning experience, Vaping that is.
I personally started with a Tornado (aka Joye 510 I believe). It's a great all around device. After a few months now I def want to get a mod. There are variable volt mods that give you control of the voltage to give you the best hit for different attys, juice..etc
Hope that helps. What are you planning on getting now? Anything you have your eye on?

I have had my eye on the Joye 510 actually, i am also planning on getting it in manual if I get one. The one thing that concerns me is the batt life, but I feel like if I bought a few more batts and a pcc I would be satisfied.

I was also looking at the Joye ego, the only thing that I dont like about it is the look, I would feel odd vaping in public.

I was a lights smoker and not a heavy dragger - I smoked slow and enjoyed it. I use an M402 (I think 96mm length with cart on) and M401 (I think 106mm with cart on). I use manual batteries so I don't waste battery sucking the end of the vapor out on each drag. I get 2-4 hours on an M402 battery the way I vape which at work is only about every 15-30 minutes for about 5-8 drags. At home I vape more often and for longer but still not all the time and that's where I might only get 2 hours on a charge. I switched my cart stuffing to blue foam and now I get better flow of the juice to the atty (sometime too much - I haven't gotten the stuffing quite right). One benefit of the M4xx line is good taste.

It works for me, but I can tell it would not work for my boss who sucks down a Marlboro is 3-4 huge hot drags. He would obviously need something bigger!

Re Joye 510 - there is also a megabattery which I think is just longer and lasts longer (not sure if they need a different charger). And there is the Ego which I think uses 510 atty/carts and but longer wider flared batteries (that need a different charger) and a tapered cowl - that battery supposedly lasts all day? So there are upgrade paths for the 510. Like you could use a bigger battery at home and a few small ones when out? There is also a Joye 510 PCC (a case you charge and it can recharge up to 4 batteries)

Re nicotine level - most full-strength cigarette users start with 24mg but some start higher to quit, and some buy some lower too in case what they bought is too high. But obviously, if you're going to vape more than you smoked then the juice nicotine amount you bought might be too high for you. If you feel dizzy or your heart races then you are probably getting too much nicotine. I did that once with a juice that just didn't say "you're done now". You need to find a juice PV and juice that will satisfy you. Some combination of TH and aroma and vapor that will leave you calm and satisfied. I like 70pg/30vg juices so far, in tobacco-ish flavors that have good TH.

Thank you for the suggestions, I defiantly need to look into the mega batt for the 510. I think im going to need to try out multiple strengths of juicewhen I get my 510 or ego, right now the carts with the 28mg nicotine im using are giving me a stomach ache and all that is doing is making go back to analogs
