Hey guys, I'm pretty new to vaping so bare with me :)

So I've been really happy with my prosmoke e-cig. I've been dripping with Totally Wicked e-liquid and it's awesome. Great vapor production and throat hits, but I was curious about the bigger models. I heard 510 attys are great for throat hits so I went and got me from TW a Tornado E-NIC. I actually just got it today, charged my batteries up, took a cart out and dripped some of my e-liquid into the atty. Ok so no throat hit at all from both 510 attys.

So...tested my prosmoke out with the same e-liquid and amazing throat hit. I could fit my cart from my prosmoke into the Tornado so tried that and no throat hit. But in my prosmoke it is perfect.

I've heard it might take time for the liquid to soak into the wick and start working but I've been at it for hours now on both attys and NOTHING!

Question is, does it take longer like a couple days or something? Bc I ordered the same model for my friend and he got it today too and said it was working and really strong throat hit immediately when he started using it.

Did I get 2 defective atomizers?

Sorry for the novel :p Thanks for reading and hope you guys can enlighten me. Its hard to believe can get 2 defective attys :(

A slim 510 can only use standard resistance, not LR. I use Boge standard res cartos on 510. re attys - there may be some slight resistance diffs between different brands of standard resistance 510 attys. Just from the look of the one I got, I don't think the 510 I got from TW had a Joye atty. You could try a Joye 510 atty.

And hopefully you got manual 510 if you are dripping

Thanks for the responses. I have had my fair share of trial and error with dripping and I know when an atty has too much liquid and all the jazz. Vapor production is fine, no throat hit. His atties give off amazing vapor and throat hit and he got it the same day I did (today).

These are brand new out of the box atties that came with my tornado. Here is a link to what I bought.

Ok another update: I finally got the chance to get home and I had a little bit of 36mg juice left to drop into my clean atties. Guess what, strong throat hit. It's weird bc my menthol juice (TW doesn't say how many mg for the patriot range) works great on the prosmoke but sucks on the 510.

So does that mean I would have to get 36mg to have great throat hit? Anybody know why the menthol eliquid doesn't work well for my 510 but does on the prosmoke?

Thanks again for your time guys, really appreciate it.

It's not unusual for a particular juice to taste, feel different equipment.
One more variance in our quest for the perfect vape :)

It may be your 510 batteries are a little more worn out? Not taking a full charge? Not able to discharge quite as fast? Manufacturing differences (the 510 was made on a Monday or Friday) LOL

You'll really see differences if you get a couple mods, 3.7v, 5v, bigger - smaller batteries, normal and high drain batteries, all will produce differences it taste and vapor. Find the combination that works best with a particular juice and just vape on.....
