Welcome aboard
Yes I agree that decreasing your nic from 24 to 18 would probably be a good move. 24 seems high for a PAD smoker.
Find a local vape shop for tasting flavors. I think you will find something you like easier than picking flavors off an website. If you find juice(s) that you like buy small quantities. I have bought no telling how many 30ml bottles that I eventually gave away due to a short test drive at a vape shop. It really takes a tank or two to evaluate a flavor.

You may also want to try higher vg juice as the pg is more harsh and some people have bad reactions to it - sore throat, rashes, all kinds of crazy stuff.

The flavor I'm on now, by their website, states a 50/50 VG - PG ratio. That good to start out with?

Just another opinion to analyze, but I would get away completely from PG liquids. There is debate out there for a reason, and I personally (before I knew better) was trying to figure out why I would get stomach aches right after vapeing a bunch of new flavors in a local B&M vape shop. And later a slight headache; ALL PG and PG mixes. I vape nothing but 100% VG now from Velvet Cloud and a few other high quality organic vendors. LOVE VC's "beard" line. Especially White Beard. Anyhoo...

welcome!
I have recently quit (6mo to date) smoking. Even though you will want that cigarette, keep vaping. Now you can vape indoors! No more smelly clothes! The advantages are great and still get the nicotine you body craves. For me it was the hand to mouth motion that saved me. So go wash all your clothes, clean your car and avoid cigarettes at all costs!!!!!! And you even picked up a new hobby!
