Hey everybody!

I feel like I should give a little history before I ask my question:

I've been a 1.5 pack/day smoker for about 10 years, and I used smokeless tobacco for 3 years before that. I went through all kinds of brands, but finished up smoking analogs on American Spirits (which may have been a good thing, considering the lack of additives).

About two weeks ago, a friend of mine and I decided to make the jump to e-cigs; he bought a 510 rig, and I got the Janty Ego. Mine arrived last Wednesday, and I haven't smoked an analog since! I haven't even really wanted one. Which leads me to my question...

Am I vaping "too" much? I mean, I'm pretty much living in a cloud of vapor. I am using the zero foam mod (which, by the way, rocks!) and a mix of nicotine levels and flavors, but mostly 18mg tobacco from American e-liquids. Is this how most people start? Just vaping constantly? And most importantly, is there anything wrong with me tugging on my electronic pacifier all day long?

"my electronic pacifier " love it! Thats the way I feel.

Nicotine is not good for you. But analogs are worse with all the other junk they have in them.

I was a 2+ pack a day smoker for almost 20 years. I vap almost none stop when I'm awake. As long as your not getting headaches or feeling sick to your stomach, and there are some other side effects of nicotine overdose you want to look up. If your not feeling any of them most would say your okay.

But if you still have worries tell your doctor about them, and where you are coming from. They can give you the best advice on your health better then anyone here.

I hope you have time to eat and sleep:D But getting excited over new toys is always normal but that´s the thing. It´s not a toy. So try taking it more easy. Living in the cloud might be a little too much.

Hi there

Sorry to post on this unrelated thread but apparently I cannot start a new one so have to attempt to hijack this chat. I have just bought my first e-cigarette, a Milano. It seems to be completely dead. When I put it in the charger, the light at the end of the cig flashes red a few times and then stops. The charger light starts red and then turns green after a few minutes, which I keep assuming means that the cig is charged. However, when I try to use it, nothing happens. I am extremely frustrated by this as I just want to give up smoking so much! Can anyone help me?

Thank you,

Emily

I was in pacifier mode until I got the Bartleby mod and a Protege in the same week (Protege took a while so the orders weren't in the same week). I think because of the more vapor I was getting more nic so I could put it down some.

You might consider topping off with a 24mg or 36mg ejuice. Not regular vaping but just a few drops on a top off. That might do it, but yeah... there is the 'new toy' phenom going on too.

I don't know about everyone else, but for me, I was vaping quite a bit when I started. I've cut down since then, but I still feel a bit naked without my PV.

Right on, everybody; it seems that I am not alone in my Freudian oral fixation with these things in the beginning.

I like the idea topping off with a higher octane juice, but I'm not Sir Vapes-A-Lot all day b/c I'm jonesin' for nicotine; I think it is "holy crap, I can vape anywhere, this is so much better than smoking" syndrome.

Its probably just a phase, and I'm sure I'll level out. Just thought I might ask, and get a little pre-hab in :)

I have been vaping for about a month and a half now. Yes at first I couldnt put it down at all. I really wonder now if I was not addicted to the other things besides nicotene in the analogs . I finally have for the most part gotten over that and can put it down now at least for a little while, well unless I have a particular deliciouse juice LOL

I tried upping my nic at first and that did not work. I still used it just as much and gave myself a buzz LOL. I have now gone to a lower nic and dont use it as much.

Give it time, you may be craving something other then nicotene and dont realize it.. That will pass in a short time too.

Good luck with your vaping journey!

Not familiar with that brand, can you give more details?

Emily, if this is a manual batt, try pushing the button when the charger turns green. If it is an automatic, unscrew when it turns red, activate the batt with suction and reinsert.

I have had this happen in the past with other models and you may have to do this several times but I find that it usually works.
