LOL....reminded me of the day I had my son(8yo at the time) out fishing on the banks of the Potomac. I make him fish upstream from me about 20 feet because he likes to cast like hes trying to knock the sun out of the sky. Everything was pretty quiet when suddenly he got all excited and screamed "I think I got a fish dad, but I dont see it". I looked over at him and started cracking up so bad I damn near fell in the river.
Evidently he had hooked a tree limb above him with one of his wild casts...he had the line reeled up tight...and the wind was blowing the tree limb back and forth moving his rod......and the whole time he is bent over scanning the river to find his "fish".
We never caught anything that day but it was the best fishing trip I ever had.

that guy would be fun to fish with.. last time i went out was fishing under this tree.. decided to walk down a bit once i casted my line there was a loud crash the big branch we where just under dropped to the ground.
Oh my gwarsh I used to work at an answering service and he was a client. We also took phone orders for his book "Bill Dance on Crappie". He called the order number and chewed me out...how was I to know that crappie is pronounce kraw-peh?
