So I recently sampled all of the five pawns e-juice and all I can say is mmmmm good. The Grandmaster and Gambit are unbelievable! I went ahead and purchased a bottle of Grandmaster and have/only will use it dripping. I'll pay the price for good juice just like some folks pay for good cars/clothes/food and wine...you know where I'm going with this. So if your looking for a change in flavor I suggest giving Five Pawns a try, you won't regret it.:toast:

That was a great review of Five Pawns...maybe it will clear the air and folks will stop complaining about the prices.

Perhaps, but probably not. The Internet is all about complaining. Ha! While the prices are inline with what a lot of brick-and-mortar stores charge, some people understandably will only pay online prices. The juices are definitely high quality and unique. Personally, I find three of them to be quite delicious. Now is that worth almost twice as much as what I pay for juices I enjoy from Ahlusion, Heather's Heavenly Vapes, and Goodejuice? That's a tough one and it's really up to each individual vaper.

The sad part is that one day we may have no choice but to only patronize B&Ms. I have never been one to DIY, but if I had to consistently pay $30 for 30s, I bet you I be a DIYing freak!

If you got into DIY, there's no way that I could keep up with your acronyms. MMNPT (Mr. Mann's NET Peach Tobacco), for example....

Ha!

Perhaps you've all been vaping much longer than your ecf join date... all I'm saying is that before I spend that much on juice, I want a description other than: it's good etc... and I want to know how many vendors the reviewer has tried... what makes it "high quality?" Are the flavorings different from other vendors? Are they more like Ahlusion or more like diyflavorshack... or pink spot etc...

I've been vaping a while now and I've bought into companies with this appearance only to feel ripped off... so... any more info on why they are special?

you've piqued my interest.
Thank you.

Let me clarify... I don't mind spending $25-$30 for 30mls if the juice is unique and really good to me... I'd spend that easily on Maha Ras... or Vapesafe's ripple effect...

Those are unique liquids that don't taste like anyone else's... There is a fairly short list of these in the vaping world... so far... subjective or not...

So no complaints out of me about price so long as they are not squirting flavourart, TPA, Flavorwest and Capellas into a nic base like so many of the other vendors out there.

Izzy, seems you were a huge fan of mtbaker recently... how does 5 pawns compare?

I have had 7 or 8 different MtBaker juices... for the money it was a great value, but I found the liquid to be uninspiring overall... performance was meh... flavors were bright and tasty... but nothing unusual that I had never had before... My favorite was Thug Juice and I couldn't deal with Moo Juice.

I still am a huge fan of MBV e juice but I just am blown away by the flavor from Five Pawns. Nobody to me, will ever beat MBV's prices and customer service. I'll continue to order from James(MBV) but Five Pawns has also found a repeat customer from me. I can't really compare the 2 yet since I only recently started vaping The Grandmaster.

Yeah, I'm actually delighted by the idea that there are enough parameters involved that an e-liquid deserving such high prices could actually evolve, but for me to lay out my dollar I'd need specific information about innovative ingredients or something else really impressive; at this point we already have a good number of sellers who can do terrific, complex things with the standard flavorings at a decent price (and still make a handy profit). And some also-affordable real innovations.

"Tastes really delicious" doesn't help much, since that's frequently and enthusiastically said about a lot of lines, from the extremely basic DIY-type to the familiar Chinese bulk juices to very skilled and interesting recipe developments.

I honestly do appreciate artistic packaging - all other things, including price, being equal, that'd be a factor for me.

Looking forward to reading the interview, and thanks for that!

Yikes... I was reading the vendor's description of "absolute pin" man, that sounds so interesting!

"Intense complexity of Irish cream, cinnamon spice, and caramel with subtle absinthe undertones. Lively and with a medium to full bodied throat hit."

I put it in my basket - proceeded to checkout and with shipping it's $33.50...

I just don't have the guts to pull the trigger... I want to make sure they're not using loranns and flavourart... nothing wrong with those... but for $33.50, I want to be sure I am going to taste something new...

I'd pay that and more for some of Mad Murdoch's concoctions... but I need a little more nudging to pull the trigger here.

Read the "Our Story" on their homepage or better yet

"Everything is made by hand and in very small batches. As you’ll see on our bottle and packaging labels, all numbers match and our batches generally consist of 160 bottles per lot. We’ve invested a lot of time and money in our facility and in our flavors. As a matter of fact, the five offerings were in development for about six months before being released. We’re perfectionists and refuse to allow any liquid to leave our facility before it’s absolutely perfect. We use only natural USP / food grade ingredients and the best premium pharmaceutical grade nicotine. We disclose the obvious flavors for tasting note reasons but there are many other ingredients that help enhance what you taste. We use only the best ingredients sourced both domestically and locally and all liquid is made in the state of California. All of our blends result in a 50% VG / 50% PG combination and come only in 30ml bottles."

This is the last I'll say about it and let you guys decide for yourself. Everyone has their thing, some folks will pay hundreds for a bottle of wine when you can get the same thing from a $5 bottle. The taste might not be exact but its the same wine. A merlot is a merlot a chardonay is a chardonay. Well I'll pay the 27.50 for a bottle of juice because that is my $100 bottle of wine (top shelf) that I'll only use dripping. MBV will still/always be my daily vape. That is all...have a safe Memorial Day!

I like 5 Pawns. I pay the premium price.

I used to LMAO at the price. Then I tasted it. (Gambit) Then I bought it.

I won't bore you with a taste review, taste is subjective and Five Pawn's descriptions do a better job of describing than I can. But I completely understand why someone would not buy it without tasting it.

As Izzy said, it's not an ADV. It's too expensive. I'd rather ADV a MBV flavor.

It would be irresponsible for me to recommend that someone run out and get it or order it online, but I recommend you try it, if you can.

Top shelf stuff.
