From the original 5, I would say that each one tastes accurate to its description. Solid liquids.

Personal preference is for Gambit, big time. Although its been a little while since i have had any, I was addicted to that stuff. Over 120ml a month, and it wasnt the only thing I was vaping. Grandmaster is good, Queenside is good, Bowdens is good. Absolute pin I could pass on usually. Might be in the mood now and then. Basically, the only one which knocks my socks off is Gambit, but Id say the rest are all solid liquids.

From the Mixology- Have only tried Castle Long and Perpetual Check, the other three literally sound so wierd I just havent brought myself to try them. Perpetual Check is actually awesome. To me, once you've been vaping it a bit and you no longer have an uber fresh wick, the flavors blend a bit more and it becomes a sort of ______-Cinamon Crumble Dessert. Insert whatever fruit you like, its nondescript. Peach, Pear, Apple.. whatever. Just that sweet pectiny type fruit mush with the crumble on top.

Castle Long Mixology-come back to this.

Black Flag Fallen- Idk. This joins the ever growing list of coffee vapes I dont like. Now, this could be because I am what is called a coffeegeek. Actually to put a finer point, an espresso enthusiast. The coffee I buy, and anyone who is like me, buys, is literally the top 1% of coffee grown in the world, and the roasters we deal with are Artisans of the highest level. We care about fresh roasted coffee, basically throwing out coffee that is over 2, mayyybe 3 weeks from the day it was roasted. I know how amazing coffee can taste. I ALSO know how ....ty it can taste. Eliquid has yet to able to replicate a cup of coffee. The closest thing IVe found in eliquid to taste like a tasty coffee thing, is when they try and replicate a starbucks or dunkin donuts coffee milkshake concoction. Uber sweet and caramelly/milky/creamy.. But, real fresh roasted coffee in eliquid? no.

BFF has some awesome chocolate truffle stuff going on in there, but Ive yet to find a setup which makes it excel. Im mostly a subohm dripper, and I feel this liquid just doesnt like that kind of vape. Ive misplaced my Kayfun, but Ive kept my bottle of BFF purposefully so I can throw it into a .8-1.2ohm kayfun build and see how it tastes there.

Castle Long Reserve- OMG holy sheet balls. Yep, Im a fan of this one.. BIG TIME. It is an epically amazing eliquid. It joins a small category of about 5 liquids that, for me, I would pay any amount for. The flavor is just.. honestly it is the most complex layered eliquid Ive tasted, and I have tried a lot.. A LOT of eliquid. The oak barrel lends so much to this liquid, it really blends the flavors together and smooths out the bourbon against the vanilla.. This is world class eliquid friends. For me, it excels no matter how I want to build. Generally I go a little higher than my normal build because of the higher PG ratio.. usually vape this around .5ohm or so. But Ive it down at .2ish, and it doesnt break down, it stays together fine. Some of the more delicate nuances are hidden in the noise of the oak taking over at that high wattage.

Castle Long Mixology- Ok. So.. This is SO CLOSE to being the same as the reserve, that it makes me like it less. It literally is 99% of what the Reserve version is.. but,, that 1% that is missing, really changes the blend. Its the Oak, and what the oak barrel aging brings to the table. ITs good, and if reserve didnt exist, itd be awesome.. but its definitely not as good as the reserve. However.. its 10 bucks cheaper and its available whenever you want it. Much as I totally prefer the Reserve, I would be lieing if I told you I didnt buy this blend when the Reserve isnt available.

So for me, basically, its what I would have expected. I dont like EVERYTHING they make, but I do like most of it, and some of it I REALLY like. Gambit and Castle Long Reserve Id pay whatever the asked. Perpetual Check and Castle Long Mixology, I wouldnt pay any more for, but I feel the flavors are complex enough that I dont mind the price tag. 99% of what I buy is in the 17-22Dollar per 30ml bottle range. I consistenty will try new guys on the block who offer crazy prices, like 120ml for 40 bucks or something crazy.. but Im rarely pleased. Right now, I spend a guaranteed 250 bucks a month on eliquid. That my main order cost, give or take the price of a bottle. throughout the month I may buy anywhere from 1 to 5 bottles from a B&M, or I might buy some new hyped up bottle which comes out before Im ready to order again. But lets say I DO go and buy a couple bottles from the B&M one month, plus make my usual order. Say I spend 300 on liquid one month. I still have $260 bucks left that I could spend on vaping, before I BREAK EVEN, with what smoking cost me per month. AND Im not killig myself. IF thats not a win win win situation that anyone can get on board with, then idk what is.

Only tried two of them (Grandmaster & Gambit), both were not to my taste despite the descriptions being right up my street. They had far too much alcohol in them along with some funky flavour notes (Grandmaster had a silage tinge to it).
Using an RDA made them both taste worse.

I would personally say that you will enjoy them if:
    a) your tastebuds have been ravaged by years of cigarette abuse (or simply you are a low level taster) or
    b) your device mutes the flavour enough to make it palatable.

Funny, that you say it like that, so if someone like's them, then something is wrong with them or their device....seems to me that with the majority of people liking 5 Pawns the "problem" may be with your device or your taste buds....

    Settle down Francis.

I am not aware of the 'Francis' reference, but I will assume it is a hilarious reference, so LOL/teehee/haha etc

As for the other part, I am a 'Supertaster' so I am more likely to taste what is actually present than 75% of the population (or the majority), hence the comment about it tasting better if your palate is less sensitive (worded differently).
There are a number of psychological reasons that people will say that they like something regardless of the actual item, for example Cristal (wine). Regardless of the taste, people will say that they like it because they want to be seen to enjoy expensive things, or because they paid more for it than is the norm so they expect/want to enjoy it more (cognitive dissonance).

The 'taste is subjective' should not apply in this instance, the juice description is the subjective part (whether that flavour appeals to me), if it does then I SHOULD enjoy the juice IF it actually is a true representation of that flavour profile.
That is basically what annoyed me about the Five Pawns juice that I tried, that the flavours seemed to really appeal to me and I was expecting to taste the most delightful blend of the flavourings, but sadly all I tasted was an over-hyped juice that left an aftertaste of bitterness.

Anyway, each to their own and all that, I am more than happy for you to vape all the 5P juice on the planet :)

I will put you on my mailing list for when I start my own exclusive juice company, $500 for 30ml, just one juice - 'The Placebo effect' - It tastes just like Heaven, Nirvana & Valhalla combined*

    Update:
4.8V at 1.6ohms is perfect for this juice in a Nautilus Mini. I don't know what it is and people can bash and all that but you can tell this is truly a craft liquid. I Know not everyone has my stance on finances but money isn't an object to me. I'll drop $100 a bottle if I need to. I would in an instant for this one in particular. If you are a serious flavor freak like I've become and only settle for the finer things in life, nothing short of Five Pawns will do.

I am not sure if your post is a joke or not...
but judging by your username and signature I would guess not. You appear to be a prime example of what was suggested in my previous post, which is why I question whether or not your post is a joke.

You sound like an advertiser's [edited by staff]!
Let me know if you are on the look out for any new items (vape related or not), I will happily serve as the middle man and will endeavour to seek out the finest* things for you. (My finders fee will be 50% of item value, which I am sure will make your appreciation levels increase).

I will add you to my exclusive e-juice mailing list too :)

Not so fast. I purchase based off of a premium image or premium price point alone lol. I find what feels premium, I then research what others say about whatever that item is, and if satisfactory I try it for myself. If said product fits my very strict guidelines for what I expect I will be a lifetime customer. I don't get sold on just a brand image, advertising, or price point. If that was the case I would be a douche in a Bentley, instead of a truly finer and cheaper product that I drive now if we are using my username as an example.
Now this is not a condescending reply at all rather a I'm setting the record straight.

I have taste all of their product. I ordered their sample pack. Most of their original juice taste 'savoury' or umami. I think they are believe that umami taste create craving. To me, It makes me nauseous.
I love their Mixology Edition, especially Sixty Four, Lucena and Perpetual Check. But the flavour too thin for Lucena and Perpetual Check.

Because the shops around here who also sell tobacco are constantly converting their long time cigarette customers into vapors. The major chain here in Michigan has t-shirts that say "Vaping Kicks Ash" as part of their uniform.

And not every community here has a vape shop but chances are, they have a Wild Bills Tobacco/Mr Vapor. There are a lot of people who only buy liquid through them.

I didn't quit smoking because of ECF and vape mail. I quit because Wild Bills kept pressuring me to put my bag of RYO back on the shelf and buy an MVP 2.0 and a 30ml bottle of Strawberry Ice from Mister Eliquid.

And when it comes to online shopping, I only buy bulk juice consisting of 120 and 240ml bottles. Shipping dates aren't consistent enough to spend close to $30 on a bottle that's only going to last me a week, not to mention steep time. Instead, I like to drive around the block and buy my bottle which has already been steeped in their warehouse as well as on their shelf. I don't buy expensive juice unless I can conveniently buy it at the store, ready to vape.

I was really excited when I saw it posted on their Facebook page that they were getting Five Pawns. When I went into the store hoping to buy some, they regrettably told me it was only available in their couple of vape only stores which are nowhere near my area.

So unless Five Pawns changes their stance on selling to shops that sell cigarettes, cigars and RYO tobacco, I guess I'm buying Boosted, Independent Vapor Co, Tarot Labs, Jimmy The Juiceman and Cuttwoods Boss Reserve.

Vaporcraft in Clausen sells 5P. I know thats not exactly next door to Roseville but...theyre next to a sushi bar I frequent so if theyre open I stop by and grab stuff I need. I dont generally buy from B&M's anyway because the markup is so much higher, sometimes 2 and 3 times what I can get the same thing for online. My usual method is to just wait til ejuices.com has a 30% off sale, which is at least every month or two, and buy my 5P from them.

I really dont get people who say they don't like 5 pawns AT ALL. I mean I get people who say its not worth 27.50, even though thats a small fraction of what most of us spent as smokers, and I get thinking theyre too rich for an ADV, but to say 5 pawns in general arent good? Not even good? I feel like it has to be sour grapes over the price.

I mean Gambit, CL, CLR, Lucena, Grandmaster, 64, Perpetual check, I mean how can you try these and say you dont like them? Like what do you vape? MBV? 5 pawns is all I buy besides the occasional AiV, I just cant understand it, theyre the only company Ive found with a nic base that smooth to where I can vape it incessantly and not get sore throat or heavy chest or anything. I think they need to start making a 50 dollar 60ml bottle for sure, the 30 ml is a pretty small limit. Otherwise I think theyre making better juice that anyone else Ive tried.
