Fix for that ugly gap that is present with the T3's and other atties and carto's. Plus it makes the T3 rock solid less chance of breaking it off as it does not rock back and forth.

My instructions confused some on another forum so maybe this helps. The plastic tube sitting on top of the mod.

The plastic tube dropped into the well.

The finished look. Rock solid now the T3 does not rock back and forth.

I think you should have mentioned that's using a T3 with an adapter. I think a lot of people use them without an adapter. Maybe that's what's confusing. Without an adapter there is no rocking.

Yes using an ego adapter not an issue using my flat head zmax as the T3 fits in well and uses the ego threads. But most mods need an ego adapter then the t3 does not fit tight to the top of the mod and they rock back and forth on the mod. Alot of atties/cartos do not fit flush with the top of mods and they rock back and forth on the 510 connector. The right height plastic makes contact with center pin and allows the atty/carto to fit tight no rocking

Doesn't that defeat the purpose of using the adapter?
