Guess a LATE review is better than no reviews - lol

Few minor points
Evod is BCC - ALL BCC can leak(nature of the beast) Evod included. Yep most leak during non use. Simple fix, Lay it down or stand on upside down.
Evod is Not the T3 Mini - The T3-mini is. I own 10 Minis. Evod advantage - Wick cost only. Both produce excellent vapes.
T3 will wick all the way to Dry without performance loss if adjusted properly for Viscosity of e-liquid
1/2 e-liquid volume is not close to same - Half is half.
Wick Removal IS required for SOME High viscosity liquids. Adding may be needed for Very Thin Liquids.

Might want to accept your experience is not that of all others and include that as Fact. i.e. In my Experience.......
Not trying to disillusion anyone, Kanger products are great pieces of equipment however individual experience will play a role in successful experiences.
My rebuttal :D

I put in my goodejuice RY4 that had extra VG (figure 35pg/65vg)in my evod and took out one of the two wicks. It started leaking after approx. 1/3 to empty. do you think that type of juice would stop leaking had I kept in both wicks? What's your take?

I tried most of the clearos (CE3/4/whatevers), then went on to Mini Novas, T3s, and MT3s. About 2 months ago, I started using EVODs, and they work best for me. I have had no leaking, no gurgling, nothing. I own 5 of them, and change the heads about once a month (I let them sit in a mug of hot water for about 10 minutes to clean weekly).

I am more of a "simple vaper", EGO Mini, Vision Spinner 400 MaH, and EVODs, and it all works for me, so why change it?

I, like you, also saw clearomizers as a natural progression and I have to say; I'll never look back.

After using a TW Titan-T for 2months I ordered an Ego-Twist, Kanger Protank and a couple of EVOD's becuase they seemed a better option for every day use and nights out.

After having this setup a week now I can honeslty say I prefer the EVOD to the Protank by some way.

The only small, and it is very small, gripe I have with the EVOD is the base design. I have had a few occasions already where I'm unable to unscrew the base from the tank due to the shiny chrome finish on the base. The way around this so far for me has been to screw the EVOD back onto the Twist hard then unscrew the tank from there. Obviously at the back of my mind I'm waiting for a time where I get the base stuck on the battery but so far this has worked every time.

To summise, GET AN EVOD.

Yeah, I agree with you. I definitely preffered the knurled bottom on the T3/MT3. When you see an EVOD on a spinner/twist though, you can understand the cosmetic choice. I'm not for cosmetics so much though and agree that a knurled bottom would be better and more functional.

My 'LATE' review? It's an honest review from someone coming into this scene. I've read ton of shill reviews and slogged through a lot of BS and have a ton of hardware that I ought to throw out at this point. I only vaguely mocked the mini Nova. The leak/gurgle issue with the T3 is infact linked to liquid weight and tank pressure. I suppose you are correct that the viscosity of the liquid inside is relevant, but I never made any such claim that it wasn't. All I did was inform regarding the leak issue! My experience may not be YOUR experience, but it is infact the reason behind the T3 leaking issue. I dunno what you are attempting to inform people about other than your choice of high viscosity juices...

My point was that the EVOD sits the atty up higher in the tank and the tank shrink resolves this issue by correcting pressure and low tank issues. An EVOD can definitely leak...but it's kinda beyond me to see how someone could be vaping it to that point without some serious tipping gymnastics.

Might want to accept that my review is what it is. It is an observation as to what EVOD brings opposed to T3.

As far as facts, you are incorrect. EVOD holds close to a T3. See, the tank in the EVOD comes up into the drip tip. The drip tip on the T3 is significantly longer and is not part of the tank. The atty on the T3 adds another quarter inch to the entire thing at the base, whereas the atty in the EVOD sits up inside the tank. Essentially the EVOD has shaved 2/3rds of an inch off its height while losing less than 1 mil internally. The T3 LOOKS significantly bigger, but actually holds only slightly more liquid. Kinda another benefit of the EVOD. I touched on this in my review, but you missed or ignored it. I suppose you meant the EVOD is half the SIZE of the T3?

I've been using and rebuilding my MT3s for a couple of months now. Still have a couple unused heads, they work great, never saw a need to buy a new one. A friend of mine wanted to replicate my kit, coming from a Blu. I bought him an SLB and an EvoD. Right off, his Evo wasn't working. I didn't think it was the center contact, so I traded him my workhorse MT3.

Took the EvoD home, adjusted that center contact a bit, it fired right up on my Ego-T. I've been using it for three weeks, nonstop.

My thoughts? It doesn't leak nearly as much as the MT3. Only time I get a leak is when its almost dry, and I tip to refill it. There will be a few drops of juice trickle down through the mouthpiece. Blow out, refill, vape on.

Downside? None, really. I rebuilt the only head I have last weekend, and it still runs like a top, no leaks, no gurgles. My next few will be EvoDs. I like the look of the finished ring, despite it being harder to turn than the knurled bottom of the MT3 heads. But that's a small price for reliable performance. I'm sold.
