Am new to the PT2, having it less than a week. Was vaping on a head that was working fine but wanted to change juice (flavors), so took PT2 apart and rinsed everything.

Afterward the head wouldn't stop gurgling, even after dry burn, etc. So took it apart to blot the wicks. (Just pulled the top stem off like when you're gonna rebuild the coil) The wick was really wet so blotted it and there was a single flavor wick that came off. Knowing GrimmGreen (and some vapers) removes these, I thought, eh, what the heck. And left it off especially since I vape near 100% VG [but had no complaints with how it was hitting before... just thought I'd try it].

Well the Vamo was firing but the head was totally flooded now and even leaking on to the Vamo pin. So took it apart to put the flavor wick back and the little top cup-gasket slid down real nice to meet the FW so looked like all would be well...

But the head still leaked on to the Vamo pin and wouldn't hit.

So just put that head aside and put in a new one and all is fine. But can anyone tell me how to fix a leaky head? Do I just need to rebuild it with a larger wick, or cut another little wick to stick in there like a second flavor wick? Thanks for any guidance. :)

EDIT: After reading more yeah, I guess I have to add a flavor wick or re-wick with a larger wick. Cause ain't no other way for it to be leaking but through there. :) Will buy some organic cotton yarn tomorrow and boil/try that. Would have just deleted this post but couldn't see a delete button. :)

Mine gave me problems with high VG juice. Im not sure how high because it was a friends DIY but i think its was 100% VG and maybe cut with a little distilled water. Im not really sure. I worked great with 50/50 for a long time and then everything went south after trying his juice.

I cleaned mine 2 days ago and inspected everything. Replaced the coil with a new genuine Kanger coil and the 50/50 juice i used in it the first week or so. Now after two days its still working perfectly. Ive also made an effort to not let it get below 1/3 full. Ive heard some people say if it get under 1/3, it will leak and gurgle badly.

The only thing i can think of is Kanger had a bunch of bad coils get out in circulation or it simply does not like extremely high VG juice. User error on my part is also possible but its working great now with no leaks.
