Flat Polymer Li-Ion High Drain Cells

Does anyone use something like this? It has a 10A discharge rate. Seems like it would provide the benefit of the high drain 18650 cells people are talking up. Other then the awkward size it seems like this would be a great battery, especially with a low resistance atty. Thoughts?

Bare LiPo cells like that have no protection circuitry whatsoever. To charge it, you'd either need to design and build a specialized circuit for that particular battery (which is complicated), or you'd need to get a universal smart LiPo charger (which is expensive).

You're much better off getting a USB battery pack like this and scavenging the LiPo cell and charging circuitry. The discharge rate will probably be lower, but 10c is way higher than you'd ever need for an e-cig anyway.
