hey guys. I'm coming back from a small vacation on friday and I'm gonna have a little bit of spending money to bring back with me. I'm thinking of finally going out and getting a provari. its pricey but it has so many great features and seems to be a workhorse. the only thing i really don't like about the provari is how the top of it bevels inward toward the 510 connection instead of being flush like most mech mods. is there any type of connector or accesory i could buy to replace the curved top to make it flush? any help would be great!

Pro rings!!!

A whole bunch of vendors sell em. Theres the Sotong pro ring, Tatroe pro rings, the Hippo v2 (with AFC). Provape also makes a nice and nifty pro-ring at a solid solid price of $8.

Oh btw, great choice on getting a provari. It's a very nice mod :)

Have had my provari just over a year now and its a great unit, most dependable PV I own. Don't cheap out with just the mini, get the full size with the 650 extension cap so they can match both pieces. and spend the extra for a colored LED, the red isn't all that great. If your going to spend 2+ beans on a provari then go all the way.

The pic in my avatar is a Provari with the black ring they sell on the Provape site. My one complaint is that it's only held on by the atomizer - it doesn't actually attach to the Provari in any way. It goes right over the bevel and just sits on top. When you screw the atty down, your topper holds it in place. It's not a problem at all, but figured I should point it out so that you're not surprised.

And you definitely won't regret the buy. I've had mine for 4 days now and I'm totally thrilled with it. It's everything the Provari fans say it is and then some.

Oh, but thats how "all" pro-rings work :) the only one that really screws on to the 510 connection is the Hippo V1 or V2. It does however add quite a bit of height to the provari though!

I personally own the Tatroe pro-ring, which works exactly as you describe. What I did was to stick on 3 small pieces of double sided tape at the 12, 4 and 8 o'clock position and attach the pro-ring on. works flawlessly and I never have to worry about losing the pro ring.

Oh, mine works fine as-is, i was just a little surprised coming from an eVic where you unscrew the beveled ring and screw the flat one on in its place.

I think I want one of those tatroe endcaps with the wide base, though. I can think of so many places where that would be really handy.

Best accessory that I have purchased for my Provari's. :thumb:

Yeah, I'm fine with the normal one at home and work, but I play pool competitively, and standing a mod up on a table in a pool hall gets it knocked over constantly. That thing will be a lifesaver in that environment.
