flat top or button top for sx mini?

Looking to get a couple of dedicated batteries for a new-to-me s class.
Everything else I have runs with button-tops, and they work fine in the sx. Will it even work with flat tops, and would there be a good reason to switch?

I ask because I frequently see flat-tops on sale but I've found nothing about using them in the sx. Visual inspection of the contacts leads me to think they'd work, but looks can be deceiving.

I use LG HE4's in my SX mini m series, and they work great.

They're flat top.

Thanks Shel. I'm thinking the flat-tops might be easier on the battery post spring as well.

I get excellent battery life.... around 23000-24000 joules on a charge. This seems to be higher then many other owners report, with different type batteries... it's among the higher end batteries, as far as battery life on the SX.

I've been having good results with Samsung 25R's in all of my devices but I'll definitely give the LG's a look.

over 31000j with Samsung 25Rs, go with flattop.

I use flat tops (Samsung 18650-25R) in my m-class and they work fine, if your button tops work well and are reliable there's no reason to replace them

The overall length is pretty close to the same, I'm sure the button tops are fine and as far as I know YiHi doesn't specify one way or the other anyway.
