I have this problem that I suspect a lot of others do as well. You can't stop buying and trying out new juice, even if you have tons of juice and several that you like and vape daily in your rotation. There are the people who find their ADVs and only buy those in large amounts, the people who DIY and are pretty much okay and content with almost anything, and the super picky people who aren't really sure what they're looking for but even if they think they've found it, there's still something else more unique, better, and different, right?? Unfortunately, I wish I could just be happy with a few select vapes and buy large amounts of it and be content and save money but noo... I have to keep flavor chasing. Wondering if I should just stop and vape what I have and try to be content or keep looking? Of course I should stop...

I think as long as you're not exceeding your vape budget (however big or small it may be), there's nothing wrong with flavor chasing. Me, I'm a bit of a flavor chaser because I have a very easily bored tongue... I can only *really* taste a flavor for between 5 and 60 minutes before it starts tasting of nothing at all and I need to switch. So, having a literal ADV doesn't work for me. I have about ten juices now that I really love and will be trying my best not to run out of, but every month or so I try something else new, because tastes change, and I don't want to feel like I'm starting my flavor search all over if that happens. Easier to keep a little of lots of different things on hand.

That's a very good question.

For awhile I was going crazy trying to buy samples from every vendor being recommended here.

Then I found two really good vendors (besides Halo) that really fit my flavor profile.

So now the problem is that I Love so many flavors from these vendors, it's hard to decide which ones to reorder because I want them all.

Really though, I am thankful to have found these two vendors and am sticking with them.

Still ordering sample bottles from other vendors now and then but it's getting easier to say no because most of what I get in samples, I don't really like anyway.

I just got a few on Friday from my fav vendor that are unbelievably good!

Apple Pie, Peach Cobbler, and Pecan Caramel Cupcake.

So, for now, I don't feel the need to "flavor chase" and I feel content.

I know when I was in that buying frenzy, it was driving hubby and my bank account crazy!

Yea... vape mail is pretty fun. In fact.. I think I just have an obsession with getting stuff in the mail. Who knows how much money I've blown on random crap I don't need from Amazon. But stiiill... I'm way more picky with vapes than I am with food. I mean, I know what I like to eat as far as food and drinks go and can usually stick to a few things and occasionally eat something different, but with vaping its like... I'm not even sure what I'm looking for. I don't think I'll find something that will totally blow me away. Maybe I should stop trying to do that and just vape what I already have, because I'm a pretty light vaper and have way too much juice. I've been giving away stuff to my friends who recently got into vaping, but at the same time I hope they don't feel like I'm just like "here's some crap I don't like. You can have it." Ahhh... I even have DIY stuff but when I look at all those flavorings, I'm just like "uhh... hmm.. what do I want? I have no idea. How to make something I will really like.... hmm.."

I DON'T KNOW!! I went to a convention this past weekend, fully intending NOT to buy any juice as I have plenty, but I bought 3 30ml bottles plus I have 3 10ml free samples added. And STILL I'm waiting for vapeland to open tonight because I'm thinking of buying more Twas Brillig and a sample pack- although I have plenty of juice to keep me vaping probably throughout the whole rest of the year. Somebody stop me!

I don't think I ever want to find 1 and only adv, I want to be a juice ...../flavor chaser. I want variety. I enjoy researching vendors and flavors more so than equipment(I'm pretty content with my simple set up). I pace my spending so my family doesn't get too annoyed with my juice expenditures. I find flavor to be the best part of vaping (after the part of finally successfully quitting smoking of course). I have my preferred vendors, but will I ever be completely 100% faithful? No, I truly doubt it. Too much out there for me to try and more new stuff/vendors coming up all the time-my list of next to try is never ending. I get duds from time to time, and am ok with that too-taste is subjective. Being a jw/fc is just what I am and what I enjoy being.

Ok, My name is Cindy and I am a Juice .....!LOL!

Hubby is always asking, sarcastically, "Think you got enough juice?"

Added up what I have in my juice basket, and right now there is 1,450mls and I have 90 more coming from Kick Bass and 120 more from TV.

That doesn't include the AIV "Bit of Everything" sampler I received end of last week or the 180mls I have steeping.

I was definitely out of control at one point.

Decided over the weekend that I am only going to order once a month til some of this juice I have on hand is used.

Since I found TV and KBV and have kinda gotten burned out on ordering so many samples from various vendors(most of which I didn't like), I feel contented enough with these two and Halo to stop ordering all the time.

After I use up some of what I already have, maybe I will order every two weeks.

Wow, I felt like a crazy lady......Juice Addict there for awhile!

No Intervention needed..... promise, I feel like I am in control now! LOL!

Hello, my name is Alisa, and I'm a juice ......

No, really. Thank God I don't have a lot of money to spend but lately I've spent as much on juice as I used to spend on smokes. It's a problem.

I was spending way more on juice than I ever did on analogs.

I truly would be afraid to add up what I have spent on juices since October 1st.

And I KNOW hubby will never know, I will make sure of that!

I think it kinda goes back to survival instincts. I've only had two encounters where I had no juice and I was freakin out as if I had lost my mod (you know how that is lol). For me, I just don't want to run out and I naturally like to bake (foods) and experiment with flavors. Considering I do 3 different flavors per-juice, I need some variety. I've only got a little over 10..flavors..not including the other stuff :)

I've resigned to the fact that this is a hobby for me. It's not about necessity, like smoking was.. I'm flavor chasing simply because I enjoy it. Sure, it seems futile at times.. to have however many 100's of mls on hand, and still be looking for more... But is it any more pointless than any other hobby? Like hunting, for example. When the cost of guns/ammo/equipment could buy you enough meat to sustain you for a year? I don't think so.

At least that's what I'll tell the hubs, if he ever questions me. ;)

Also, there's a trading thread in the PIF forum. I think its a great way to circulate the ones you didn't like, and pick up some you might be curious about. I've had nothing but positive experiences trading. Vapers are good people.

That, and another 18 3ml, 3 7ml, 9 10ml, and 35 15ml in the mail, not counting the January ZampleBox shipping on Thursday...
Of the ones in that box, one is 99% pure pharmaceutical grade nicotine, 15 are flavorings, and none of these are my DIY mixes - of which I have enough supplies and bottles to mix over 5 liters.

Cleaning tanks and making coils takes up more time than actually vaping.
