??There are so many RTAs on the market. I'm searching for the very best flavor chasing rta in these 2 categories. (1) MTL; (2) Cloud Chasing

What say the community??
Taste is so subjective...

For MTL, I'm quite enjoying my Pico.

For Clouds, I like my Boreas.

YMMV

Lung hit

The two best are the Silverplay Nano or Goblin Mini

Mouth to Lung has to be the Kayfun lite plus or Taifun GT-II

I agree that the Taifun GT-2 (and some clones) are a Very Great single coil MTL RTA, and might I also add that the ErlKonigin (and some clones) RTA is also a Very Excellent MTL RTA.

I don't do Lung Hits, so, this is my input, Hope this helps you out.

I would like to try the Erlkonigin Mini but hsvent been able to find one.

The ErlK is a great tank for Mtl'ers.. great vapor and superb flavor, and absolutely no leaks at all.

There are also a whole heap of older Genisis type tanks out there at the moment that are great for MTL and that are dirt cheap like the Smok RSST. easy to build and flavor is excellent. Also take a look at the DID Genny Rta, fantastic quality and build and superb taste, simple to build and again no leaks at all. Bit more expensive than the RSST but its a quality item just as the ERlK is.

Most Genesis tank are fairly easy to build and once you have tried a Mesh or SS Rope in a genny, there is no going back.

I have the authentic ErlK in both versions and both are superb. I know fastech did have erlK clones in both versions also, and the reports from them were very good. Taking a quick look i think the mini is sold out at the moment, but the full size with a steel and Pmma tank is available and is about $12! It is supposed to work great as well, the reviews look good and it might be worth trying an ErlK out and see if you like it before you splash out on an authentic.

here is a link so you can read up on them.
$11.85 RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer (8ml) - stainless steel / 20.9mm dia. at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

They also have the conversion kit to the mini in stock, at $2.66!
$2.66 Replacement Chimney and Tank for Mini EK RTA - stainless steel + PC at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
so you can convert the full size to the mini.

When the vapor comes off the coil and rises up the chimney, I don't see a benefit to a lot of airflow. Unless of course you are dumping juice on the coil. Many of those mentioned are MTL and not DTL. Actually, I like the flavor that comes with the vapor sitting on my taste buds. No benefit to DTL for me.

You might like to try an RTA of each. ???

At roughly 153 tanks, rtas, and rdas, I'm trying one of each, but they're coming faster than I can buy 'em.

Somebody please ask China to slow down a bit...

The one you have listed for $11.85 (sku:2000400) is the one I have and I am Very Happy with it. No leaks at all, even when filling (top fill) without closing off the airflow, also, it works great on mod's with positive pins with limited travel like the VTC mini, Presa 75 (I have both). It is listed as 8ml, but mine holds 6.4ml measured, and I put 6ml in it and it works just fine. I just checked that mini conversion and it seems to be out of stock at the moment, but the Full sized one is really short for holding as much liquid as it does and also being just shy of 22mm in diameter. I use it on my Presa 75 watt and it is really a good little stealth setup, and very light weight.

I am intrigued by the new "Merlin by Augvape and Roxy" so I went looking for some reviews. Every review I found (13 of them in fact) were done by Lung hitters running it Wide Open, not one was done by a MTL vaper, so I have a question for those that have a Merlin. I would put that 2.4mm airflow reducer in the airflow tube but, can the outside air slots be turned down so as to reduce the air intake to Zero (then I could adjust it to my liking) ?? The reason I ask this question is that all but (2) of my MTL RTA's have very serious blow-by, meaning, that while the outside air slots may be completely closed off, there is still too much air coming thru, so, it is Not as tight as I want it to be. I have found that a 2mm airflow tube and a 2mm air intake are about right for me, so, if this Merlin cannot be dialed down on the outside airflow slots enough I prolly will not find it beneficial for me.

I use the Merlin with the restrictor and for MTL only. You can close the AFC to completely closed.I have it just a little open and it is perfect.Best atty i own by a mile.

Thank You very much Dubminer, that helps me out a lot. For Crying Out Loud, a person gets the impression from watching You Tube Videos that the ONLY way to vape is to do Lung Hits and Blow Big'ol Clouds. I do hope that someone comes along that is a Tried and True MTL'er and do Videos about RTA's/Atomizers along those lines, there's more than 1 way to skin a cat you know. Thank You again for the Help Dubminer.
