I recently switched from 18mg to 12mg for all my new juice orders and it seems like the 12mg juices have less flavor than the 18mg juices of the same exact flavor, mix ratio etc... I notice it most with the the flavors I vape most often and on a daily basis with the exact same setup I usually use (carto tank). They taste somewhat "watered down" almost. Some of the juices are coming from very reputable vendors (probably the most popular because of one certain flavor wink wink), so I wouldn't want to believe it is the vendor that is the problem, maybe it's just me...

Any input?

Yea, PG/VG ratios are the same for all juices I'm concerned about. I suppose that steeping could be the case, but this one particular juice I'm mainly speaking of, which most people have heard of and tried at some point, has never had to steep for very long because they make large batches as far as I know. Maybe it's just the batch, I'm not sure. I will try the "caps off" method though, see if it helps.

It might be too big of a drop in nic. I know as I have been reducing my nic levels and the difference can be drastic if you drop too quickly. Try mixing the same flavors together. So, get 18 and 12 and mix them at different ratios. Try 50% of each in your tank or carto. If that still seems too weak then do 75% 18 and 25% 12 for a week or so and then go 50% each and then increase the amount of 12 mg in the ratio as you progress along until you are at totally 12mg. That's what worked for me. It's almost like your taste ability gets more sensitive, eventually. I've worked my way from 24mg down to 6mg and am working in 3mg now. Good luck to you. I hope it helps.
