I have 20ml of 11mg juice, if I order a 10ml bottle of 24mg juice to add to it, what nic level will I end with? PG/VG ratio will be the same in each juice. I'm really jonesin' for an analog, and I think i dropped from 18mg to 11/12mg too soon. When i hit an 18mg juice, the TH tends to help a lot. But I've got mostly 12mg juices, and my favorite one I'd like to up the nic level on so its not such a waste most times. I actually have the same flavor in a higher nic level, but its not the same PG/VG ratio and i don't want to mess with the flavoring of the original 20ml.

I've tried an ejuice calculator, but i can't figure out how to use it correctly when it comes to adding to an already made juice.

The math is fairly simple if you think in terms of the total nicotine and total liquid.

20mL * 11 mg/mL = 220 mg
10mL * 24 mg/mL = 240 mg

Then just total the nicotine and divide by the total liquid:

(220mg + 240mg) / (20mL + 10mL) = 460mg/30mL = 15.3 mg/mL

ETA: you can do this with the E-Juice Me Up Calculator using the Nic Combine feature on the Tools Menu.

If I've done my math correctly, you will end up with 15.33333333 mg/ml, if you just add one bottle to the other.

20ml of 11mg = 220 mg/bottle
10ml of 24mg = 240 mg/bottle

220 + 240 = 460 mg/total
460mg/30ml = 15.333333mg/ml

I tend to vape anywhere from 14-18 mg, and cannot really tell much different, in regards to throat hit, between the two.

Thanks for the math! I tutored algebra in college, but I haven't done any real math since i graduated. I found that ejuice-me-up calculator after I posted, but I'm on my Android cell at the moment so i wasn't sure if it had that function.

Good to know about not dropping nic level yet. I've got some really good juice at too low of a nic level now and I'd like to spice it up a bit. I wonder if bringing it up a tad will help with insomnia, somethings gotta give :(

lol I was trying to figure out the math, while you were posting. There we no responses when I clicked to reply. I'm so glad you had posted, and we came up with the same answer. :p

Nicotine is a stimulant, and can contribute to insomnia, especially if you're vaping right before going to bed. I have a 6mg "sleepy time" juice that I switch to a couple of hours before going to bed. I tend to wind down with some computer time, and vape continously while online. My standard 18mg vape was way too much for chain vaping, and kept me up all hours of the night. With the 6mg, even chain vaping, I'm able to fall right to sleep when I finally lay down.
