I'm pretty much just starting with the DIY, so I'm certain that i'm doing something wrong....all my juices seem to be losing all the flavor when they sit for two weeks or so. I started out with a coffee/vanilla/cotton candy mix that was rich and silky and basically tasted like vanilla coffee creamer with a dash of coffee. I only made 10 mL because I'm still experimenting. I vaped 2 tanks worth, and figured I'd let the rest sit for a while. I got back to it about 2 weeks later and it was HORRIBLE. No longer silky and creamy, it was nearly flavorless. Then i made a straight black coffee that tasted just like Folger's Black Silk coffee initially, then after sitting only 4 days, it was some weird watery coffee/black tea thing. Similar happened to the root beer. No unvapeable, just really disappointing since it was so wonderful to start.

I'm using Watkin's coffee and clear vanilla and LorAnn's for everything else. My thinking was that I could use the cheap, easily available flavorings to learn the ropes the 'graduate' to other brands.

The creamer recipe is:
10% coffee
10% vanilla
5% cotton candy
PG/VG/Nic to 18mg/mL 60VG/40PG

FWIW, I did realize later that the coffee percentage was probably too high.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts on this!

Are you leaving the caps off?

Also some flavors will get worse over time while others will get much better. I see many post about letting their juice sit with caps off and scratch my head. Coffee however is a pita to work with and rarely gets better with age. Either it comes out good right off the bat or it gets worse after sitting a while. I have made a few batches of coffee flavors and for the life of me I just can't find one I like. And I drink coffee all day everyday so it might just be my buds are trained to a distinct taste.

Start with the Vanilla alone. Bring it up to where U would vape it alone all day. Then slowely introduce the coffee 1% at a time. Most coffees are very strong. Leave out the EM for now. I've found that most mixes don't need any sweetener at all. EM can be added later to smooth and or take the sharp edges off if your still having issues.
