That's a lot of nic juice! You oughta be set for a while. Some people don't like Loranns flavorings, others do. I've been using them because they're cheap and locally available. I haven't had a problem with a perfumy taste in any of the ones I've tried. I did find that some of them will clog an atty pretty quick though, even if they are on the "approved" list. The fruit flavors seem to be pretty good, although some taste more like artificial flavor than real fruit. I've been buying mine at a local pharmacy, Hobby Lobby, and Walmart, and have been paying $1.99 for 2 x 2 dram bottles. I'm mixing at 10% on most flavors and more doesn't always give more flavor.

If you get a few more posts you can ask in the DIY forum where you'll get more answers from the experts.

My honest opinion is each brand has their not-so-good flavors, their all-are-the same flavors, and their better-than-the others. As others have said, check the DIY area, but do keep in mind that preferences are very subjective (and sometimes compensated :). I use quite a few of the LorAnn's for the reasons given here: inexpensive and readily available locally. As for the 'perfume" taste, most of it has to do with how it is mixed and how it is aged. They all can have a perfume and/or chemical taste if not worked properly. I usually have found that if someone uses a recipe that calls for one particular brand and they use another brand the results may not be what is expected and taste peculiar; same thing can happen with a "drop" measuring as opposed to an "ml" measuring. Your mileage may vary.

One thing you might consider is getting your VG, and possibly you PG, locally if you can Usually much larger supplies and cheaper without shipping charges (unless you can find a great coupon code/sale of course. Good luck!

Loranns Oils are not oils - except some of them

In general, citrus, cinnamon, almond, ginger and some others are oils

Lorann's Check out this guide in the sticky threads - it marks which flavors are not water soluble and those are not recommended for beginners:
DIY e-liquid

And visit OneStopDIYShop.com - they sell Perfumer's Apprentice flavors (just as inexpensive as Loranns), and Flavourart (like what FreedomSmokeUSA and a couple of other juice makers use) and those are more expensive

I use a mixture of commercial tobacco from seedmans and flvourarts cowboy blend, just one thing when you are mixing your own. flavorings like flavour art and others are highly concentrated, there are some good post about mixing formula's here. I would suggest that you take a little time to read them. you can get some great flavors from mixing you own, but trial and error is probably the key.
