VG is the sweeter of the two and also the thicker which is why some have to thin it out with distilled water or PGA (Pure Grain Alcohol). Going to product a thicker vapor. The PG is where you receive throat hit. I currently use 50/50 mix because I feel like it is the best of both worlds. The 100% vg juice I have tried taste wonderful but have 0 throat hit. You really just have to play around with it and find out which you really prefer. Good luck Chris and

I guess I dont understand the "throat hit" the "lung hit" is what i am after like when i was smoking but I hear people pulling like weed which I have tried and that makes me cough.

Lower your nic level..Especially if you drip. Lung hits don't bother me as much as mouth to lung. And PG does help to carry flavor, but the flavor has to be there in the first place. Some flavors are very diminished to me. That is why I only buy top shelf any more. Ya get what ya pay for. 70 PG is my ratio and I drip.
