I have some, I thought it was pretty good but I never tried it as a standalone. Although, I'm a fairly big fan of testing mixes especially when I was new to ECF, so no reason NOT to try it as a stand alone you can always amend it as needed.
I'd say start a 20 or even 10 ml tester bottle and leave some room in case you need more of it (I'd say 10--12% is a reasonable STARTING point for DIY, if you are coming from storebought, but maybe test it on the lower end, as adding more of the flavor or more OTHER flavors, well, dilution is a whole lot harder than flavoring UP, so I'd say start low. Also, should you need sweetener, (I use CA Supersweet) that's pretty much shake and
vape, so no steeping needed.
So if that's what you have on hand, I say go for it. Keep notes, and let it steep some and write EVERYTHING down.. The worst that will happen is you won't LOVE it as a standalone, and you may then want to add more things.
If I'm heading in to Brave New mixing territory, I still mix testers of standalone flavors, because while some things generalize, it it's a new maker or a flavor I am iffy on, I do a tester. There have been the occasional mixes where I HAVEN'T done that, and have been SORRY I haven't although honestly, I have also learned more by fixing failed mixes, so there's always that. The occasional failure keeps me on my toes and then I have to Do More Stuff (whatever it is) but it keeps me on my toes and whatnot.
Best of luck,
