Flavor on the exhale?

So somewhere on here I read "vapor on the inhale and flavor on the exhale". Right now, I can taste my juice on the exhale only if I don't inhale it into my lungs. Does this mean that I'm understanding "flavor on the exhale" properly or will this change as time goes by and my taste buds return more?

magilarilla............I think this just relates more to the Physiology of Smoking/Vaping. As you inhale the vapour flows in a laminar fasion via the mouth and into the lung, usually spending little time in areas containing taste/smell receptors. As you exhale, depending on how you exhale (through your mouth, nose or a combination of both), vapour can spend longer in areas (or in the case of the nose, access new areas) with taste/smell receptors. Also on the exhale, expelled vapour may not travel in quite as much of a laminar fashion, instead swirling and contacting more surface area on receptor lined tissue. Ipso Facto....."vapor on the inhale and flavor on the exhale" :D

I'm fairly new to vaping, but have found that if I puff lightly a few times, exhaling a little during the process I taste the flavorings in a more pronounced manner.

Drawing hard on the cart and inhaling the vapor deeply seems to kill enjoyment of the flavorings... Maybe it passes to quickly over the tastebuds?

I'm not completely off analogs yet, so my sense of taste may be handicapped.

Same here.
I tend to puff on my PV like I'm puffing on a cigar or a pipe.
