The information here is amazing, but it is also overwhelming.

I've been trying to buy juice for a few days, but wow... there's so much to choose from and I just hate buying something I probably won't like. My first sample pack netted me two flavors out of six that I enjoyed... and that was $40, so it's a little disappointing.

I'm about three weeks in... and so far I'm enjoying Vanilla the best (not French,) and coffee second and a very nice chocolate hazelnut third. I liked cola & tobacco and menthol for awhile, but now I find the others to be richer and more long lasting. Any suggestions on what else I might like? I didn't like cherry or peppermint at all.

How do you choose a vendor? What do you look at to know you want to try? For every person here saying XYZ company is great, you have 15 more recommending at least 15 other companies. lol...

The hardest and most expensive part of vaping is finding a good juice. After a little over a year and a few thousand dollars later, I've finally found some good vendors.

freedomsmokeusa.com - good fruity vapes. Lucky Leprechaun is my favorite from them but I love their fruits also.
nitelitevapor.com - bounty hunter (tobacco) and cold creek (mint/menthol mix) are both very good.
Anything from sweetvapes.com and vixen*vapors.com (remove the *)
primevaping.com - Kong's Vape and Nostalgia are my 2 favorites
avejuice.com - havana gold but a lot of people love boba's bounty
elitevaporworks.com - pearberry and some of the fruits are good
v4l.com - banana breeze, no.7, and bandit berry are good.

...and my all-time favorite is Dekang's DK-Tab. Bottom line, keep looking and don't give up. For the juices you don't care for right now, might be gold in a couple of weeks. Freshly made juices need to steep about 2 weeks so don't give up on them just yet. Stick with samplers until you find a handful that WOW you.

Here is a small list that you can check out. I've tried a bunch of these vendors and some I will go back to while others I won't. Tastes are subjective so please keep this in mind.

I appreciate the list, but that's 40 vendors.

Am I being naive, here? Is the early investment really this high? I have spent a minimum of $40 at each vendor to try and find what I like... times 40, that's over $1,000! I really don't have that kind of outlay.

How do you narrow it down? How do you know which reviews to read? I'm dozens of hours in and the first vendor I tried gave me very little return on investment... 4 of the 6 samples I can't use.

I don't mean to be ungrateful, I'm just overwhelmed.

The problem with recomending any juice is that the ejiuces taste different to everyone because everyone has different taste. I can tell you what juices I like but that does not mean you will like them. To save money I try to get sample bottle from the vendors that offer them at a good prices. Madvapes has decent prices on small bottles and you can specify what nic level you want. EC blends has good prices on small bottles also, and you can customize the pg/vg, nic levels that you choose.. I think I got (5) bottles from them for ten dollars. Now here again I am not saying you will like the juice. It is a good bet that you taste is different from mine but it is a way to try many different juices and save money. I hope this helps. ecblenbs / madvapes

Here & There
When you get beyond a certain number of posts you can check the classified section. Sometimes there are good deals on juice. I use the coupon code master list mentioned previously with most all the purchases I have made. You have to at least narrow it down to flavors that might be appealing to you before you can get super specific recommendations for juices by their name and vendor. There are sales posted on the deals and steals thread. There are contests and free giveaways. I got a few juice samples for free simply by being on the forum at the right time.

I know its daunting but you'll probably have to sample different things before you find your faves as hairball mentioned. Welcome to ECF.

I also love coffee flavor, so I'll give you a few of my tried-and-true favorites:

Kona Coffee Milkshake from Virgin Vapor
WowCoffee from Vapor4Life
Keoke Coffee from MyFreedomSmokes

If you want to try a hot cinnamon that tastes exactly like those Fireball candies, try the fabulous Atomic Redhots ejuice from Crystal Clear Vaping.

Some people take advantage of 'vape meets' in their local areas. It's an opportunity for local vaping communities to come together and share what they have and sample others' juices. You might want to check to see if there are any local vape meets coming up in your area and then take advantage of that resource!

You said you found a couple you like. Just buy those for now and when you save up some money try some others. I have Hairballs list and a few I added to mine, but I've only purchased from about 5 of them so far. You don't have to go out and buy 40 bottles of juice right now. I only have 4 juices I vape constantly and I try new flavors every once in awhile.

I appreciate the suggestions; the less expensive samples and a local meet up are great ideas.

I found this thread interesting: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ion/247229-long-lasting-flavor-enjoyment.html, but unfortunately was unable to respond to it. I think the poster is onto something.

My husband noticed that all three of my top three flavors were beans (vanilla, coffee, chocolate.) I think there might be something to that, but I'm not sure what it indicates.

What the vaping community needs eventually is a cross reference database to help newbies narrow down their choices. I thought I would go nuts for cherry flavor but couldn't stand two I tried. Cherry is one of my favorite things... I like cherry in everything... pop, alcohol, pie, chocolate.... but not vape juice apparently.

I'm going to stick with my known like flavors for now and try some of the suggestions in this thread.

I appreciate the help, everyone. :)

Parkes Vapeing has a 5 bottle sampler pack of 3mil bottles for 7.50$! And ive been more pleased with there flavors than other vendors ive tried.

I'll second Parkes, haven't seen them on the other people's lists.

$40 for sample packs? That's way on the high end. Most of the sample packs I ordered in my last round of buys were around the $5-$6 mark.

Best bet is to get a few packs from a few different vendors. The same type of juice from different vendors will have a bit of a different taste. Just how like a Red Baron pizza will taste a bit different from a Tombstone pizza.

I've heard that complaint a lot about cherry flavored liquids. Apparently a good cherry flavor is a difficult one to nail down.

Like runningwolf just mentioned, 40$ for 6 sample juices is extremely high.

My go to vendor has a 10, 5 ml sample pack for 27$! Defiantly look around. Anyone selling juice one dollar per ml of juice should be a red flag. Yes there are the few rare vendors that do have merit to charge that much (Nhaler Lung juice for example, a very specialty juice) however most juice should never be that expensive!

When you find a company you like, do a quick search on ECF. If posts do not come up about the company, reviews on their juice think twice about ordering from them. E-ciggs are still a blooming industry, word of mouth seems to be the way to know if one company is more competent from the other. I love how it's cottage industry but it does have its positives and negatives.

After you find some juice you like and get comfortable with it all, when you are ready you can DIY juice which saves even more money! Some people end up great at it, good at it, some can't seem to get the hang of it. I'm hoping to be in the first category because I got my family vaping on with me and It's getting hard to make sure they're all set with juice too. Be happy you just have to worry about yourself, for now ;)

40 vendors is the tip of the iceberg. There's even more since I compiled that list that has popped up. Find a vendor you like and stick to those vendors. When funds allow, try something from someone else. Also, let your juices steep and try them again. Steeping usually helps but not always. Keep a watch in the classies and PIF thread.

I'm still vaping the very first juice I've bought.

I've tried a ton of other juices but that's my daily vape. Don't go nuts in the beginning. Don't look to fall in love with a juce. Find one that's acceptable until you've been off cigs for awhile and your taste buds come back to life.
