It's time to make a change for the better. For the longest time, we've been using a vanilla oleoresin for our liquids. While this is a completely natural form of vanilla, it's straight from the bean, I'm afraid that this flavor has been doing a number of things:

1. Shortening the life of atomizers and cartomizers
2. Gumming up the mechanics of some electronics
3. Creating longer steeping times for liquids

We've tried a few Vanilla extracts that were sans-sweetener, and we've come up with one that we believe will make a MORE than suitable replacement for the oleoresin we've been using.

I've mixed a test batch of one of our popular liquids using the extract and it's REALLY bringing out a lot of the flavors. It has also brought the steeping time down a few days too. My cartomizers are interacting with this very well. This mixture has a smoother and more consistent draw...

And so, as of this afternoon, Sunday 7/10/11, we'll be swapping the flavor out in favor of our chosen vanilla extract.

I'm sure you'll be more than pleased with the results.

After reading the above, I immediately thought of a statement you made somewhat recently regarding changing ingredients to suit the electronics..

I guess I'm finding more eloquent ways of saying "if it isn't broken, there's no need to fix it". The sucralose blend we're using works great, apparently not with some electronics, but with the electronics changing every other month, making liquid compatible with changing electronics would be a pure hair pulling mess, if it's not broken, we're not going to fix this.

Does this mean you've changed your stance on trying new things to help make your liquids more compatible with the changing electronics? If this is the case, and you are going to revisit choice of sweetener as well, I will look forward to ordering from TV again in the future.

If you don't like sucralose, order your liquid unsweetened and add what you want at home. That's what I'm planning to do. I've developed an allergy to sucralose. If I think a liquid needs a little extra sweetness, I'll add stevia. I don't expect it to be an onerous burden.

While it would be lovely if Tasty Vapor carried an infinite number of ingredients, I understand why they aren't. I assume that when a sugar-free agave or a flavorless stevia becomes available, they'll revisit the possibilities.

my mum used to use stevia liquid from a company that was as good as tasteless. i mean, you could tell it wasn't splenda, but there was no taste to it. however as a 30ml bottle of that was $12, i wont expect Geoff to justify that added cost. i only get one or 2 of my juices fully sweetened, the rest either unsweet or just the smallest amount. if you're that worried about intaking the equivilant of a tsp of sucralose every 30ml... stick with juices that are already sweet enough as it is or buy some stevia of your own.

I am looking forward to try the Vanilla. a friend got me to order a bottle for her as her first bottle of vape liquid and it'll be my first UV experience. cant wait to see what it tastes like :)
