I'm using a KR808 and Carto's. I'm on a vanilla search and getting frustrated. I ordered the Over the Top Vanilla and a custom mix of cupcake and Vanilla Custard. I like both, but after one or two drags I have to move on to another flavor because it gives me a harsh or almost burnt taste. I'm finding that is almost universal with me and the various vanillas I've tried. I've had these flavors for over a month and I keep trying. I've been using the vanillas to mix with other liquids and happy with that, but I really would love just a nice vanilla by itself. I do have the butter creme and love that!

Banana Creme Pie - does it have a chocolate taste to it? I have it and to me it just is a bit overpowering with a chocolate taste. Chocolate is not one of my favorite flavors:(

Any suggestions on a nice, smooth, vanilla/dairy? I've come to the conclusion that I'm extremely boring in my desires. I also seem to like cinnamon in my liquids. Right now I have quite a few things in my cart and keep playing around adding/removing/creating custom flavors.

Thanks!

I am using 808 cartos on 808 batteries and with an adapter on a Riva. I have now tried 4 different vanilla flavors from 3 different USA juice suppliers. (TV is NOT one of them so I can't comment on their juice specifically) I have had similar results. I do not get a burnt vanilla taste. To me it is more of a burnt cartomizer taste. I think what is happening is that the vanilla liquids are not wicking fast enough so the carto is getting temporarily dry. All of the USA vanillas I have tried have been dark in color and I have noticed the same issue with other juices that are dark. So, maybe dark juices do not wick as well or maybe they leave more residue behind when vaped and that slows down the wicking. The issue is notibly worse on low resistance cartos as well.

I have found that I do not like vanilla flavors from USA makers so far. (Again, I have not used TV vanilla so that comment does not apply to their juice) To me, they have all tasted like vanilla extract smells which is not a good thing. Maybe they are too strong, I don't know. The only vanilla that I like on a regular basis is the orange colored Chinese stuff. I know a lot of people will think I am crazy for saying that but it is what I like. i don't know why. I also do not have the burnt carto problem with it so maybe that is part of the reason.

I am having a similar issue. Over the Top Vanilla started out ok for me too. Then just not quite it. Has anyone vaped just the vanilla custard or vanilla custard with french vanilla added? I am trying to figure out which flavor in over the top vanilla is not quite it for me. Maybe the buttercream aspect (it may be taking away from the custard and french vanilla)?? But I am worried it adds the sweetness I could be wrong.

Ok I added more sweetener and the last bit of the bottle got better. I am buying it again and will more religiously shake the crud out of it. I thought I was, but the krispy kreme custardy thick vapor goodness was so good I may not have always when looking back on it. I added sweetener to this new order instead of adding it by myself. We shall soon see. I am really excited.

Edited to add this is now a premium flavor re named Ultimate Vanilla.
