Flavor west- Dr Pepper, does not taste right :/ need advice on mixing

I bought Flavor West- Dr Pepper flavoring and having some difficulty getting it to taste like Dr Pepper, any advice on mixing this flavor would be much appreciated

This should be in the DIY forum, you'd probably get more answers there. I'm new to DIY myself. The only Dr. Pepper I've mixed has been from Gourmet Vapor.

What flavoring % are you using? Is it too strong, too weak, tastes off?

For Flavor West I usually go around 10%.

I've tried 6 Flavor West flavors so far.
I like all but Dr. Pepper; does not agree w/ my taste buds.

I found a way to make Dr Pepper tasting juice! Perfumers Apprentice has "Cola" and "Plum" flavorings. Mix them and it comes close to DP! Her flavors are cheap too in the small size- like $1.40!

Good thinking Silk! I bet if you also added a little Maraschino Cherry it would come even closer.
