Calling Dr. Pepper fans

I am looking for a Dr. Pepper flavor that tastes just like the real thing. I have tried a few and they have ranged from syrupy to just plain terrible tasting. None of them have tasted remotely like Dr. Pepper.

I am open to mixing juices to get the correct result if it tastes like the real thing.

Any info is appreciated.

Don't think I'm gonna be much help, got some Dr.Peppers from LF and tasted like hospitals......God that was bad, infact so bad it was kinda good...lol

Well the problem is the recipe and flavors use to make Dr Pepper are one of the most guarded trade secrets. So no one except the company know what it is. It is kind of hard to reproduce something if you don't know were to start. I saw a show on discovery were that talked to a vp of the company that makes Dr Pepper and all he would say was there are around 20 different flavors in Dr Pepper that when combined make the drink. I have heard but it is a rumor that the main flavor is prunes. Which makes since to me since to me it has a strong prune taste to it.

I've only tried Dr. Pepper once and it was from cigparts. I think it was called Dr. Popper, it was pretty close from what I remember. Pricey though, and shipping was like 7 bucks. I wouldn't do it again.

Maybe try vaporstation. Even if it's not exactly like Dr. Pepper, the quality of their juice is great.
