Flavor West strawberry and watermelon

Has anyone tried these from Flavor West? I just received 4 ozs of each and mixed up a batch with 30% flavoring. I did the ol' hot water bath power steep method, and they both taste like metal. I have switched from protank to evod, replaced coils with brand new, and still like licking a flagpole. I have both mixes sitting without caps or driptips right now, hoping that some steeping was in order. Same/different experiences??

Maybe try a lower percentage of flavoring?

I only have a few FW flavorings (not the ones you have), and I mix them at about 8-10%.

You could try diluting your mixtures & see if that helps.

Any luck with finding a good % for Strawberry? I've tried 15% and it's too weak.
