Flavored bottles not very flavored..

Hey guys,

I wanted to go ahead and wait an entire night to let my cartomizers set and absorb the juice before I tried them out again, but basically, here's what I've experience so far...

I have five 5mL, 18mg bottles of flavoring.. Hilton, Clove, Kamel, Caramel and Cowboy. Here's what I did..

Last night, I pulled out a brand new cartomizer and filled it with 18 drops of Caramel liquid. I used the centrifugal force method to shove some of the liquid down to the bottle and applied 5 more drops just to wet the very top.

I hooked up the cartomizer to my VaporKing battery and took a drag. I tasted no caramel whatsoever but more of a "brand new" taste (I guess that's the best way to describe it.) So I filled up another cartomizer with Kamel, applied the same filling method, filled another cartomizer with Clove, applied the same filling method, and lastly filled another cartomizer with Hilton and of course, applied the same filling method. So here I have four cartomizers all with different liquid, and all which taste the -exact- same, which I'm assuming is the brand new taste.

So, I decided to set them aside and just use the pre-filled cartomizers I got in my sampler packs from Vapor4Life (and boy, these suckers have some GREAT flavor!!).

Fast-forward to today... I pulled out the caramel cartomizer that I let sit last night and still - no caramel taste in the least bit. Pulled out the clove cartomizer, no taste in the least bit. Same with the Hilton and the Kamel - they all taste the -exact- same which is why I'm assuming the taste is the brand-new taste because I don't taste a hint of anything that would considered ejuice.

Am I doing something wrong? Did I maybe get a bad pack of blank cartomizers? Did I maybe get a bad batch of liquid? Should I fill them with more liquid? Should they be broken in better? What's going on?

On the bright side - my VaporKing is amazing and I've been 100% happy with it since I received it in the mail yesterday. Thanks a million for producing such a quality product!

Sounds like he implied they were blank cartos (with the "brand new" description) but maybe I'm wrong.

Does the juice bottle smell like any fore mentioned flavors when you sniff it?

Are they VG liquids? If you are used to smoking PG and then switch to VG, you really cant taste any of the flavors.

To answer a few of the questions posted above..

1. I just started vaping yesterday. The VK is my very first eCig.
2. The sample cartomizers that I got with my order are completely different flavors from the juices that I ordered.
3. The cartomizers are 100% brand new and had no juice in them, completely blank.
4. I'm not used to smoking PG because I just started yesterday, and I doubt I could've drawn a tolerance that quickly..
5. When I smell the juice bottles, they all smell sort of the same.. It's weird. I can smell a difference in the Hilton flavor than the others, as well as smell a slight difference in the clove.. But as for the Kamel, Cowboy and Caramel, they smell pretty much the same..

Since it's VG the 23 drops you explained may not be enough to get good flavor. Maybe give another two sets of 5 drops with the spinning method. I've never tried refilling them, but since they do have a flavory smell to them it should give off some taste.

When I fill a blank carto from a 5ml bottle, I get 30 drops in.

20 drops - spin - 10 drops - spin

More consistency can be had with a syringe, but I haven't tried it yet. You want to put 1ml in a blank carto.

Ditto!!! Plus the three flavors you ordered tend to be a little on the light side I think anyway.

It definetly takes some time to get your sense of taste back.It took me a few months to really taste things right.

Just my 2 cents but i just filled some blank cartos with kamel juice and they tasted fantastic [I used the Taryn spin ] The only other thing I can add is vaping is so different than smoking and as a new vaper your taste is going to change a lot!
Give it some time and think of it as a great journey smoke free!

Does the led light come on when you take a drag? Could be a dead battery..

Though those flavors do have a very light flavor, I think that there may be an issue with some of the carts. I vape nothing but blanks since I now make my own juice and I have been having some issues with some of the blank carts. Just like you said, the effected carts won't take near a ml of juice, they taste funny, and you can't taste any flavor of any juice. I had about 10 like this from my most recent order. The other 50 worked perfect however.
