between here and there
Making your own ejuice is like anything else....practice, takes notes, and have fun. I am willing to bet that you can find an ejuice you make that you can vape. You control exactly what goes into it. And 9 out 10 times it tastes better than vendor bought.

Never tried Tasty Vapor myself, but am willing to bet they were not limited to just one flavor maker.

There is a learning curve to making your own, but feeling defeated in anything before you even try is just an excuse not to begin.

I would suggest start with a single flavor. There are many variations on that one single flavor as each company uses their versions of what something should taste like. Kinda like Wendy's and McDonalds. Both have burgers, but are prepared differently. You may like one better over the other one. (I know bad example, but you get my jest).

When you decide you are ready......just start asking questions. It not like it was years ago when we first started vaping....Much progress has been made.

:)

Definitely worth giving it a shot. I started DIY about a year and half ago. My first few batches were terrible but it was fun experimenting. I keep my recipes pretty simple and dont use a lot of additives but thats beginning to change as well. As you practice more you will gain more confidence and your juices will evolve in to something you enjoy far better than any store bought liquid.

Gives end result flavor as true as tasty vapor?or Has anyone figured out Which flavoring company they use?
Thinking i might start but no point if i can't get it that level of true as i wont use it :/

Most vendors pick the best flavor brands (in their opinion) for each of their ejuice flavors. As you'd expect there's not one flavor company that makes the best of any particular flavor.

I like Hangsen and Flavourart for my Tobaccos, and Capella for fruits and cremes and other dessert flavors. Preferences will be widely favored and all companies make some really good flavors and some that are not so, depending on your taste buds.

Lots of DIYers mix flavors from different vendors to get the flavor they like.

I don't stick with any one brand but I use mostly Inawera. They all have good and bad flavors, some do tobaccos better, some do fruits better, etc. Tastes vary as well so no one can tell you which company you'll like best. I've tried hundreds of flavors over the years and the ones from the companies I like the least seem to be the most popular. Shrug.

Variance of tastes was why i was using tasty vapor as a comparison :) as basically everything aside from high vanilla juices i like from there....
Back in the day; when tasty vapor had a section on this forum, while he didn't leak his source that i saw.... He did mention that they were almost exclusively the one flavoring company and that all of their flavorings were with the least common base at the time
I can't remember whether flavorings are normally vg or pg based though

TV TastyFinger was the 1st e-Liquid I found that I could truly call an All-Day-Vape. And it Launched me on a Borderline Obsession to Replicate it.

I can't tell you How Many Mixes I did. Or how man TastyFinger variants I made that were Very Close. But not quite there. But I Finally got it. And I got it by Using Flavorings that came from a couple Different OEM's.

It would be Nice if there was One OEM that carried All the Flavors I liked. But I Haven't found that to be true.

But that Isn't a Reason to hold you Back on Shooting for a Recipe. Because I think that you will Find that even if you can Not Make and Exact Clone of some e-Liquid, you can make Variants of the Original that are Very Good. And at Times, even Better.

If you can cook you can DIY mix. Most DIY'r claim there mixes are far better than purchased, I'm one of them. Why? My juice is tailor made esp. for me.

At one time Geoff mentioned he was using The Perfumers Apprentice. Whether it was for all or a few of his flavors, he did not say. I tried to diy with some of the flavors, but I was a hopeless failure at it. (That was quite a few years ago, and I still seem to be lacking at diy).

What is Maddening about trying to clone a Complex Flavor is even if I told you All the Ingredients needed, finding the Right Proportions can make you tear your hair out.

And, of course, they Don't tell you what Ingredients you need.
