Flavors Question. Hopscotch and Ry5

Ok the first time I ordered Hopscotch and Ry5 it had this wonderful buttery taste so I reorderd them in 30 ml bottles, let them steep a couple of weeks and tried it and didn't taste the buttery flavor, so I let it steep almost a month and still now buttery flavor. Then I was reading here on the forum about the dietyal or whatever being bad for you and it is that buttery flavor from flavorart. So what I am wanting to know did FSUSA take it out because of this bad chemical or something else? Now I am thankful to FSUSA if this is the case, they are looking out for our benefit, but I really liked that buttery flavor, wouldn't yu know anything that is bad for you I would like best!

It is my understanding that flavorart removed it from their flavorings.

FlavouorART has removed diacetyl but that has not affected flavors. Taste is a highly subjective thing and we are master mixers of flavors but on occasion bottles will not taste identical, they will be close but not perfect to each other. still, a month of steeping is more then enough for any flavor. I would try another 10ml bottle and see if that "buttery" taste does not return to you. we can go from there
I smoked marlboros for 20 years and over the years I would get a pack or two that definitely did not taste just right to me. just a production thing I think...

I was wondering the samething LeAnn, as I've noticed a change in the taste on the RY5 as well. I'm on my 3rd 60ml bottle and this last one dated 11/5/10 is definitely missing something. I've let it steep for quite sometime and it is still off. It use to be my daily vape but I've set it aside for now and have about 40ml left. At first I figured they ditched the dietyal from it and that changed the taste. I'll probably order some more to see if I might have received an off production batch. Thanks for posting about this.
