Flavors that miss their mark?

Anyone who knows me here understands that I'm generally a really happy V4L vaper who seldom complains. I've tried more than half the V4L flavs available and found nearly all of them, especially the premium versions, to range from good to outstanding (Smilin anyone?). That said, I've hit just a few dogs along the way, at least according to my taste buds.

To help any noobs choose wisely, I was thinking that we might share a few flavs that have given us a major yuk moment. Maybe our great V4L crew can also gain from our collective experience.

Tobac flavs aside for obvious reasons, I'd nominate two flavs for the Golden Yuk Award: 'Cranberry' and 'Orange juice'--I had no idea what they were until I read the labels. I know some of you will disagree, but that's what makes this forum so much fun.

Any other nominations?

For me it was Peanut Butter Cup. Peanut butter part was spot on, but couldn't get any Cup outta it. Felt like I took a spoonful of actual peanut butter and rubbed it on my tongue.

Red Hot Candy gets my vote. I always hang on to the other flavors (odd change of pace), since I generally only like the tobacco/menthols....but red hot candy...just can't bring myself to vape it.

I've had the one sole cartomizer that I think I am just keeping for posterity.

Yes, I would disagree on the OJ. I would not really order it again, but I thought it was okay. I have not tried the cranberry because a lot of people described the holiday flavors as dirty gym socks and I just did not want to go there.

Agreed with Red Hot Candy Born. I tried that stuff in Cart form and juice form, and it tastes horrible to me. Any coffee/cappuccino flavor to me is bad too.

Funny you mentioned cranberry. My cousin got a free cran carto with his order, and we all agree, it has a strong "fart" undertone. We've been passing it around to watch people make the *BLARGH* face.

FVIC tastes... not like ice cream. I got buttered popcorn out of it, but other reactions included pina colada and muffin.

I really like the OJ, but a cart will last me a month. Just nice to grab a couple vapes of something different. It's just really, really tart.

Ok...here it goes....I just tried a Pina Colada 24mg....and there was no draw...and the flav. was notta....maybe just a bad cart??? Trying another one now.

Can't stand the French Vanilla Ice Cream. Tastes like sour milk. Will be tossing these since I know I'll never get that taste out to refill.

The other is Peach Cobbler. It was disgusting.

Only two for me. The others are fine but you always find your favorites and keep buying those.

I really doubt listing things we don't like will help a newbie, everyone's different. It's sorta like me saying, "Hey I hate onions, so everyone probably will too."

I'll jump on the bandwagon though...., REG green apple had NO flavor, and rootbeer & french pipe tastes like loch ness monster poop.

Just ordered 10 more French Vanilla Ice Creme. I love it, but most say I'm weird.

What the hell is clove anyway? I have never tried it.

Irish cream gets my vote! I tried it and literally almost threw up. Tasted like sour milk when I was expecting something totally different. My girlfriend thought I was dying. Yes I may be a baby......

Caramel, clove and RY4 get my vote(s). I know that a lot of people rave about how good RY4 is, but it tasted like someone puked in my mouth when I vaped it--totally BLECH!

I was very surprised when I tried the Hilton sample carto that I got last week, though. I really liked it--very nutty flavor. It was so good that I just put in an order for more Hilton cartos!
